Lots of news here while I've been busy :D
Now I've started this post I can't remember details about portfolio/children/bags/weight/work/weekend plans etc :o But hugs and  offered where needed :A

I've been whizzing round the country visiting rellies  and selling on e-bay :eek: (57 items sold out of 110, totalling £180 after fees, one NPB  one not-posted because I overlooked it  but going today)

We Return to SA tomorrow :( (until I get there when it will be :j) Kits for Kids stuff still holed up in warehouse :( Timetabled power cuts (load-shedding) 3 nights a week for 4 hours each time :mad: (I tell myself that the leccy bill will be more bearable.......) and we have money worries still :(

Out of 220 pages (had a slight recalculation from last week!) I have to change 3 words. Yes, 3 words. Then it will all be signed off and I can submit it.

    Woooo hooo!!!

I have opened the bar, and the drinks are on me, ladies!!
    :beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

Thank you so much for your positive vibes for the meeting. They helped HUGELY! I got told off a little for not going through my boss for one thing, and instead, I went over her head to my bosses boss. I know I should have talked to her first, but I only went to the person above her because I know she was so incredibly stressed about stuff going on in the office and I didn't want to add to her load. Besides, I got a quick answer from my bosses boss. :o

So, I need to make my little amendment, run everything off again (there goes another poor little tree!), get it all signed (which my boss has agreed to do) and then I can get it copied, bound and submitted.

    WOOHOO well done crickett :)

    Good morning

Sun is lovely here, WM been on 2 loads on the line drying, just waiting for dishwasher to finish, then I have 3 black bagsof next doors to wash :) their machine has broken again :(.

Also next door has had a wardrobe clearance, and has 5 black bags I can go through to see if there is anything suitable for sewing, before it goes to the charity shop :)

Cleaned through,I'm dressed, just catching up on here, emails etc, then it's sewing :) doing quite well this week, sat in the shop yesterday and made a few peices of jewellery.

    Great news, Crickett. :T:T:T:T:T:T

I can't help wondering if the 3 word change was requested to justify your boss's existence? :rotfl:
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Can I have opinion on my next bag?

I haven't sewed it yet as I'm not sure of it, I will be putting ribbon on the edge of the over flap to make it look tidier

Here is the ribbon I want to use
