Thanks girls, just felt wrong to me to be picked on for something I had said as an honest answer to a question.

Dont get upset very often but that wasn't a kind thing to say.

All that is left is to appologise - I was not picking on anybody, just putting across a possible view point.

Sorry if some people felt offended - none of this was intended or expected. I was saying that people need to keep some flexibility and allow the possibility to find what suits them.

Sorry, people, forgot to mention something else. Souk, the fear thing. Please don't take it personally - in fact none of this e-mail was directed to you or anyone else. Most of it was about musing and questioning (you all know me well enough to realise that one of the things I like doing is making people question their basic assumptions).

What I have come to realise is that I avoided (or missed) loads of stuff in my life because of fear - it is about love, opportunities, life. Most of all it is about choice. In the offending post one of the things I did mention is that relationships are different. And we humans have this fault of extrapolating our own feelings, experience and interpretations.

Please, do feel safe again. And I have to go back to bed.

Apology absolutely accepted FW and I have found what suits me. I guess it's just a case of different strokes, and also that there are possible cultural things coming into play here. My ex was from your neck of the woods and he actually said he'd never heard of a woman who prefered to be single!!!!!!!! Really tough for me to see stuff like this, I find a lot of women dont 'get' me but I felt you lot kind of did. Dont worry, I dont get them either but Im too polite to say anything about their lives!

Anyway, and more importantly how did you go at the hospital? X

Souk, I spent most of my life alone (in happy solitude, as I said). I know about all that...

Hospital - painful. And like drinking tequila - the whole effect unfolds after some time. So, in bed with a hot water bottle working out the history of money - this was my day. But hey, tomorrow is another one...Results will come via GP which if there is something serious they will let me know I suppose.

    Good night all

I hope you sleep well and feel better tomorrow - and that you don't have to wait too long for the results.

    Yes hope you feel better.

Apart from feeling a bit fat, sweaty and generally bla today I did get the good news that I'd be getting another interview for a different job. It's for a purveyor of fancy frocks and shoes and Hypno is a fan, can't say more than that but London was mentioned, again! Whoop!

:j:j runs off to make a list of people who need a persoal shopper ......................... some of them are VERY strange shapes BTW!!!

All this talk of hormones from everyone - do you know the piece of research that shows women who are emotionally connected eventually end up syncronising their cycles? I wonder if anyone has done the research about whether that could happen in our "social situation"??? Only we all seem to be having the same issue this week:)

Sun is out so coffee in the garden and a rather full on list of bits to clear when I get back with the boys after lunch.

Time to put the kettle on.
