Totalled mine up - looking at £78 for the ticket and twenty odd for petrol - so a nice £100 will see me winging my way to Glasgow in June.:j

I've got "!!!!!! red" for my toe-nails - but my back is still too sore to get down there and give them a slick of colour - so my "secret !!!!!!" will have to stay a secret for a wee while longer.:rotfl:

Hair is looking swish though :D

:rotfl: :rotfl: Bitsy :rotfl: Like I say, got to be cheeky, don't ask, don't get... :D

(I did break it down into smaller amounts - £20000 to own the house outright (although I'm not sure of exact figure and may actually be less than this), £30000 to convert the cellar and stick a mini extension on the kitchen, £5000 for an entirely unnecessary scooter, £10000 for an even more unnecessary camper van etc etc :rotfl: so if it wanted, the universe could send me one of those things at a time :D :rotfl:)

Well done claire, they're really nice :D

MG - I like pink and pearlescent but I also like bright yellow (on my toes) which makes me happy and think of summer but did a straw poll on FB with a pic and I got a massive thumbs down. apparantly yellow toe nails are not a good look :o so sticking with blue, green and pink in rotation at the mo ;)

Apparently yellow nail varnish is 'in vogue' at the moment Bitsy, so you are bang on trend!

if there is a definitive answer Cheery, I'd like to know too. And I've been greedier than you :o
This cheque, do I write it on one of my own cheque books, or do I draw up an imaginary one on an imaginary bank?

I'm feeling quite satisfied with todays work. Just doing 15 mins at a time I've managed to achieve quite a bit :D

    The bathroom is sparkling
The grottiest bits of the kitchen (hood anyone? microwave?) are clean
    I've unpacked
There's a bag of books for the Oxfam bookshop round the corner from my hairdressing appointment tomorrow
12 books listed on Amazon - and the 1p ones removed - these are all textbooks, and heavy ones, I wouldn't get the postage back if I posted those, heaven knows how people make money sending a textbook for 1p + fixed p&P
Birthday cards posted, and also my Premium Bond claim (thanks DD)
Spoke to D-i-L and I can pack up the stuff in their room in order to make a proper spare room for relatives who arrive on Wednesday.......
    And I have a pile for e-baying.......

    I'm flagging now though ;)

Really trying hard with the positive thoughts but dark ones keep creeping in - I was a worry wort before I met dh 18 years ago and I still have glass half empty tendencies although my what-if tendencies have all but disappeared since the arrival of icklies!

Any good positive thoughts I can use for a lady at work who I find really  - she regularly tells me she doesn't want my job as she doesn't want to neglect her family, and she makes a point of being mrs extrovert in front of the school where as I am a calmer person. I do try to think positively along the lines of a school needs all kinds of people to make it work - but my darker side always thinks she is making a point of being loud and out there and challenging my role iyswim. I do try to rationalise how I feel but I know I need to try harder (not negative just realistic) Any ideas oh wise and positive ones?

Me a trail blazer in fashion :rotfl::rotfl:

Cheery - To be fair I only need about £1 million (probably less than) to be satisfied BUT the remaining £9 million is for all the family, friends and charities I want to help too :D

Olive - The Secret has a website from where I printed my Bank of Universe cheque :D

Dorastar - Just smile knowingly to yourself that you don't find it necessary to over compensate in the face of others ;)
