Probably one of those 'should really know that' threads
, but ...
If a recipe calls for the juice of a lemon, and you only have a Jif lemon and no fresh lemons, roughly how many fluid ounces/ml would you use?
Is there a ready reckoner somewhere for these things?

I've done a bit of online research and the concensus of opinion seems to be 2 to 3 tablespoons. I'd put in 2, then check it. You can always add more. Removing it is trickier. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

As a cheaper alternative to buying that squeezy stuff, you could always buy a couple of lemons, squeeze them and freeze the juice in ice cube containers. When frozen, pop them into a bag and then just use a cube or two in your recipe. Works out even cheaper if you stock up when you see lemons on the reduced to clear section!0
