    Thanks.

I will see how it tastes and add more next time if needed. To be honest I don't want it to be too sharp as my 12 year old is a fussy eater, she may not eat this anyway.

It put the chicken in the marinade at 11pm last night and we are going to cook it in a couple of hours so fingers crossed.

I will let you know how it tasted, it smells nice anyway.

    ;)

Well, we had the bbq and the chicken was lovely and moist, my husband says he def wants me to make it again.

I put the marinade in a small saucepan, brought it up to boiling point then let it cook on high for a couple of mins then let it reduce. We had that as a dip with the chicken, it went from the consistency of a thick juice to a thick sauce which looked a bit like mango chutney without the lumps!

I would def rec it to anyone wanting to try something different.

Isn't this site brilliant? I'm making gooseberry and ginger cordial and didn't know the "juice of a lemon" equivalent so I searched for it and there it was, from seven years ago!
