Ah... I've worked it out now.

I've just contacted customer service via chat and was instructed to phone a specialised eBay harrasment line, or something. Just wondering what your opinions on this are. Should I go through with it?
    Two points...

In my opinion, the answer to your question is... No.

But, you have been instructed to phone...
How can you possibly ignore that instruction?
After all, (a bit off topic now) wasn't your original complaint against the seller that he ignored your orders?

A bit of a dilemma eh?

or is it just not the answer you wanted?

Here is the question I posted in the OP:

    No...............
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Sorry, I guess "instructed" was technically the wrong word to use. The eBay representative suggested that I phone them, and I asked whether he personally thought that I should phone (because sometimes they can say things as a formality), he answered yes.

Of course he said that. What's the betting that eBay gets money from the number you call.

    That's ok.

    No need to apologise.

I have been away for a few hours and it still going on.

SIMMED - you are obviously just trying to get a reaction and enjoying the ride. Should you not be out with your mates or did you forget to handcuff them down so they couldn't run away.
    Your attitude speak volumes.
I do not see any of the seller responces as threatening, but you already know this.
I bet you didn't get on with your teachers in school or your lecturers now. Do you have any friends?

It's an 0800- number, which I believe is free to call.

Once again you're making the mistake that technically is automatically right. Colloquial English is used a lot more than Technical English, and in the context of an internet forum, technical language is not generally used. :money:
