Lol, I only found out yesterday we would lose over £700 a year by being slightly under the 30 hour threshold.
What is your problem, are you trolling?0 -
We are talking about £700 a year here, no massive fortune that will mean they can have a life of luxury for working a day less. They will still have to make some significant adjustments to make up for it. This shocks me less than the huge amount some parents get for their 'disabled' child with DLA when that disabled child attends mainstream school and require nothing extra to be paid regularly than the 'average' child. I know of three people who get high or meduim DLA for their child and has made it very clear that they are dependant on this money to sustain their lifestyle. We are talking about hundreds a month here, not £60...0

God knows what nannytone would have made of my friend. When his wife left him, he spent the next 11 years bringing-up their two kids. He claimed benefits for the whole period.
Anyway, Freddie, glad you got it sorted in the end.
Nannytone, do you have problems with your eyesight?. Just wondering why you post everything in bold, it is really rude.
I never realised civil servants worked such strange hours. I thought my 8.05 days (5.20 on Fridays) were strange. Obviously not.Never Knowingly Understood.
