End of contract was December10, Paid balance in full by bank account! through of end of contract moved to vodafone 30 day contract sim deal....best move ever no problems at all aso far!

Received a lettter from Moorcroft this month saying i have defaulted on payment and its was form orange trying to charge me 750 quid, sent letters to moor croft of bank payment saying settled no more contact....
"Paid" and "settled" doesn't mean "no more contract". You have to cancel the contract by giving at least 30 days notice.

£750 figure is very odd though.

Contracted ended after 2 years service december 10 (June 2009-december 10) You do not have to give notice end of agreed contract. have told also i have no intensions of service after contracts end by letter.

    thank you

You do have. After the agreed term ends it changes to a rolling contract.

Why have you done this then? Well done anyway. Hope you have a proof.

As I said, the fact that you paid doesn't mean anything. The letter does mean providing that you did send it at least 30 days in advance and can prove this. December 10 was the end of the minimum term, not the end of the contract.

Read the contract that you signed for.

It was a typo and should read "it", not "if". After 24 months minimum term ends the contract doesn't expire. It changes to a rolling contract if you do not cancel it.

There is no point because no network guarantees signal indoors.

My point is that I have been with Orange for 10 years or more, and stayed in the same house all that time

My signal was good and is now bad. The service has deteriorated to an unacceptable level.
    baldly going on...

I have shocking signal on orange (west sussex) been with them for 9months and have now taken out a second contract on o2 because its just unusable. When I set it up for the t-mobile network share it got even worse! I then switched it back to just orange but after 9 months of this I was done. I would always have 3g or HSDPA showing on the phone but if I ever tried to go on the net it would just give me a spinning wheel of death then say failed to connect, all my texts would come through in one lump and more often than not my calls wouldnt come through at all.
Im really annoyed that im still stuck paying for this rubbish service! It makes me so mad than people in this situation seem to have no rights whatsoever. My advice to anyone considering joining them would be to think long and hard about signing the contract because once you do you wont be getting out of it.

Same thing happened to my mate.

Someone built a block of flats between him and the closest mast...

It that the fault of the network or the builders ?

    Orange have come up.

They have listened to my problems and fixed things

I sent them 2 calls from me to thier CSR's in India (my mobile records calls and emails the calls to me- it is detailed on my account notes)
The first CSR told me blatent lies and told me I could call up and cancel in 48 hours if there was no improvement
The second call rang me at 10pm and was very ill informed and then hung up on me after I asked the question 5 times. I was looking for a 'deadlock letter' - he said he knew what a deadlock letter was but couldn't explain to me what one was :rotfl:

It was all sorted out thanks to Gareth (Plymouth) and Chris (executive office).

They actually apologised for the dreadful way the calls were handled.
It amazes me that when you get through to someone really high up the problem gets fixed

I told them I was leaving soley due to poor customer service and singal issues

Had signal issues been the only problem I would have gave them more time
    baldly going on...
