anyone know when lloyds payment match up will be paid? i thought they would do it as an when the save the change was done but apparently not.

are they just gonna pay it all in one go at the end of the month? or end of the two months?
 Didn't you read the T&C's? The latest will be 1st April for February's STC, 1st May for March's STC.

And you must remain registered for STC, and have the receiving account open, on these dates in order to receive the money.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

Just read the T&C's as only just signed up for this! They will pay the matched payments for Feb before 1 April and matched payments for March before 1 May, providing that the savings account is still open and providing you are still registered for save the change scheme! - so those planning on cancelling need to leave it until after 1 May!

Regarding 1p auctions on ebay, I assume there is a loophole or something that allows the sellers to get off with paying Paypal fees for such small transactions, but I'm not altogether sure. It only takes a minute or so to go through with the transaction, so I think that's where most of my spending will be to get my free £80 from Lloyds. Assuming, that is, that they don't withdraw the promotion.....

    Happy saving

i am sure this question has been asked and answered, but not in the last 2 pages ;)

i have only signed up for "save the change" today. i already had the CA and have opened my savings account today as the "regular saver" isnt a qualifying account.

once i submitted, it said something like "we will write and confirm your entry to save the change".

can i start spending now? do i have to wait for confirmation? if i spend today will it work?

can anyone who has only signed up after the promotion started confirm when i can make a start?

    thanks alot.

    pfpf.

    p.s i always get on these offers too late...im a slow a$$ :(

Not sure if this will work (I'll let you know) but I've just bought this for 1p using my TSB debit card to fund the Paypal payment.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320070550741&rd=1&rd=1

He's got just under 10,000 of them left :)

What I personally don't understand is how the Ebay penny sellers survive. If he cops 10,000 lots of final value fees that'll really put a sting in his pocket.

Grade A let us know if this works as it could be the answer. Thanks

I don't know how long it takes for the registration to go through but you don't have to "spend" to make your £100. e.g. create an Egg Savings account and you can pay into it (at Egg's end) with a Debit card payment of as little as £1.01. So you're not spending anything, just moving your cash around...and you can start doing that now.
