  • Daveski - yes buying a 1p photo / whatever on ebay and paying by debit card via paypal does work - a treat. I've done a few a day over the past week and nearly reached this month's total already.

    Cheers!

I don't know how long it takes for the registration to go through but you don't have to "spend" to make your £100. e.g. create an Egg Savings account and you can pay into it (at Egg's end) with a Debit card payment of as little as £1.01. So you're not spending anything, just moving your cash around...and you can start doing that now.

thanks. yes i am all set up to send funds to Egg Money/Savings/Pay. i just need to know if i can start straight away having only signed up today to STC. anyone?

Well, try it. At the end of the day when your debit card payments are entered you will see an entry on your online statement if all is well

People, remember you must stay with STC (beyond the end of march) UNTIL the bonus is paid!

Once you're set up you'll see a payee called "SAVE THE CHANGE" in your payments and transfers area.

I wouldn't waste my time making Egg transfers until the above was showing.

Grade A let us know if this works as it could be the answer. Thanks
£33 change saved already says this works and I'm planning to top that up to the full £50 tonight.

It's a bit more fiddly to do but there are enough different sellers selling these things that you could buy from different ones too and thereby bump your ebay feedback up a load, if that's something you're bothered about.

thank you. does anyone know how long this took to happen on their accounts?
  • Does anyone know pls what happens if you spend the change you have saved! Mine is adding up surprisingly quickly. I intend keeping my a/c open and in credit but now want to make a withdrawal or two. Is that OK?

Opened savings account and registered on 31st Jan, First STC applied on the 5th Feb.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

thank you. was "save the change" listed as a payee as YB said above? when did you actually make your 1st transaction that was then applied on the 5th?

do they backdate any transactions to when you actually registered?

i think im just going to to some transactions and wait till they appear before going for it in a big way.
