I really need the space on both floors, please see link below and you can see that even just doing a one storey would not work

Wish I could move though :-( as extending sounds like a major headache although Im sure moving is tough aswell

Also any comments on brochure would be great, obviously the price would be dropped considerably but let me know if you think it would be worth re-marketing

    thanks

Enough already. If you want to sell it then drop the asking price to something reasonable and get on with it.

The problem is I know what I need to put my house on the market at to sell it, probably is the houses I want to buy the vendors are not realistic with their prices so I'm stuck

Can't you sell and rent a bigger place? Prices aren't going up in a hurry so you won't be missing out by not owning for a while. You can try an area you're uncertain about and work out which rooms are the priority to have more space in by seeing what space you use.

You will find a place to buy eventually. It took us 18 months of looking to find our place because sellers weren't pricing realistically (or at levels we wanted to pay). Finally this house came on at £40k less than similar properties. The sellers were keen to sell fast and we agreed an offer the day after it went on the market. We were renting at the time so had complete flexibility to move as soon as the right house came up.
