Speak for yourself!
I for one did always look at everything on all the lists, my Tesco being one of the ones which makes its own rules up each time we go in. So i always make sure i have at least half a dozen things listed on my receipts cos if not, I'm always told that i cant use the voucher if i only bought one thing to generate the it, where as if there's a few things listed they don't look so closely!
As i said we cant all be pleased there two spheres of thoughts, two camps.
As time progresses the newbie DTDers (me and others) progressed into DTD users... into DTD addicts.
I for one do multiple shops a day if i spent more than a quid at each one i;d be broke from all the 'excess' cashola coming out of my bank etc.0 -

Reminds me of jehovahs Witnesses.............
Please . . . . can we keep this to money saving - not religion, ethics or anything else - it can be offending. . .What about peoples time that they donate to updating the spreadsheet updaters? or doesn't that count?
Remember, as you keep reminding us all, you volunteered for the job, if you don't like it, don't do it!
Why don't you ask for some help, I would be happy (and i'm sure others would too) to give up some time to assist with the task and reduce the workload, but you seem more intent on keeping it close to your chest and martyring yourself for the cause, than accepting any assistance and improving what you pump out to the masses.
AND THANK YOU TO ALL SPREADSHEET EDITORS, PLEASE DONT LET ANYONE OFFEND YOU - WE LOVE YOU ALL AND REALLY DO APPRECIATE WHAT YOU DO :beer:0 -

Right I've had enough, just got off the phone with Tesco HO told them we are all sitting waiting for vouchers, I said 'fgs some of us are waiting for more than 1!'
I don't think they believed me about the devastation their tardiness is creating so I gave them the link to this thread, they seemed quite sympathetic - I have posted their response below ...0 -

I'm not spending £400 quid on one of those "phones" ! It would wipe my profits out.
No need to do that, they arent on about an iphone, you can do it on handsets available for well under £100 - 64.99 in fact (thanks to tryn2help on hukd)
Orange San Francisco - £79.99 Including £10 Top Up @ Orange
Don't know if it's already been posted but I just got an OSF for £79.99 and it included a free £10 top-up, making the phone just £69.99 (that's the cheapest I've seen it). UPDATE: It now seems that some people are getting the phone for £74,99 - and the top-up making it £64,99!
I called Orange sales on 0800 801080 and gave them the number on the back of an old Orange sim card. The salesperson told me the phone was £109 but he could let me have it for £79.99 and the price included a free £10 top up (and free delivery).
Got the phone today, called Orange on 0800 079 0006, they took some details then told me the £10 will be added in 2-3 working days. UPDATE; Money is on the phone today - much quicker than they said it would take.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
I'm certain that I have seen the SS editors thank us for updates. I'm also grateful to everyone who posts or submits deals for the SS. The SS editors, however, deserve copious thanks not only for the time they put in on the SS, but also for taking the time to offer advice and often be the voice of reason on the thread itself.
I too am very grateful, not just to the SS team, who spend hours updating the sheet, but to everybody on here for keeping YOUR spreadsheet upto date. Without you guys, life would be so much harder.
That is why I occasionally post this. The operative word being YOURAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
