You may struggle with that one. The ones at that price would be their own brand stuff and unless they're identical in spec, the chance of them comparing is minimal.

yeah, i suppose what i'll have to do is buy an item or two with the largest dtd and pay the extra?

bit off topic, doing a dtd tomorrow on beef and cadbury heros:p.

I need a kettle, can anyone help me. I have a £15 voucher and would like to get a voucher back. Thank you.

You could buy an oral b battery kids toothbrush and a dentyl mouthwash and £2 of something that doesn't compare. You would get back a £20 voucher towards your kettle.

Had a funny experience today in our local tesco extra.

While OH was doing a DTD shop, I went up the escalator to the clothes dept to get a couple of cheapy t-shirts for my forthcoming hols.

I picked a couple took them to the nearby tills. The lady SA rung the 1st one through, then when she scanned the second, she said -"I'm sorry - I can't sell you this one, you will have to choose another style."

"Why not?" says me, a bit flummoxed.

"Because it's coming up as costing 1p, which is a system error and I can't sell it you for that." she says.

So I just bought the one and jogged on.

Weird. I've heard of people buying tins of tomatos for 1p bought not a t-shirt.

Might go & try to buy it again tomorrow.

if its there take it to the self service they should all be 1p should fhey not?

what the smallest beef joint anyone's bought and got DTD back on please?

Think it needs to be marked at £8.48 per kg. . . .

The smallest joint I have bought has been £10.20 but dont think I have seen any under the £10 per pack price.

I believe if you find one with the correct barcode digits it should be ok, if you find out different would you let me know. (Even p.m me). :)

One for me for later on today. Whiskas Simply Steamed Fish x 12, T£3.85 A£3.00. Been waiting for cat food - Benji is down to his last box and he is a hungry little boy!

My garage is straining at the seams. DH is questioning where he is going to put everything.

Tesco was quoted in January as stating it was allocating £200m for the current promotion.

Seems odd, doesn't it? I mean, if Tesco really are the cheapest (as they claim - and certainly are for me at the moment :D) then they wouldn't have had to assign any money towards the promotion (or certainly nothing like that figure)
