Yes....once clothes have been out on display for a number of seasons, they reduce them to 1p to identify which ones need to be taken off and "scrapped". I picked up a load of 1p clothes items last year including quite a few pairs of stig socks. They're not supposed to sell them at that price, but if you go through self service till, you should be ok.

    which T-shirts were they?

Dark grey mens tshirts with a red stripe on the sleeve. Priced at £6. They had a fair few of them in Poole extra/fleets store.

I'll give em a go at the self serve tomorrow a.m. i reckon.

Not a good today at Tesco. Checked online to see what time the store nearest to me was open till (website said midnight), so I drove the 25 min to get there only to discover that it closed at 8pm!.

Drove a further 15 mins to a store, pulled out my shopping list but lots of the items were cheaper in store, Colgate blue beads now £1.50, Sunny Delight now £1, Mcvities Medleys now £1 each, Loyd Grossman tikka Masala sauce said £2.09 on mysupermarket but shelf said £1.79, no lamb, beef or sausages. Ended up wandering up and down isles trying to think what to get.

Planning my shop for tomorrow can anyone tell me if I can use the following 4 voucher in a £40 shop:-

    Quantimatic £5 voucher
    Co-op £5 off a £30 shp
    Tesco £6 off a £40 shop
    DTD for £20

That would be £36 of a £40 shop.

    Any ideas.

Anyone help me on this one???

Will now be using 2 x cushelle vouchers and 1 xfairy gel too!1 :j

Bringing my cash outlay to £2 if it works.

Amazing, I only get to check this twice a day but so many pages to catch up on!

Very many thanks to all those who update the spreadsheet and Mr. T.

Gutted that Ffr doesn't have half the stuff I'm trying to track down, but off to Dundun tomorrow for large bags Bakers small dog, lamb racks and rump steak! Meantime, to Mr. T Ff for first voucher time today, so much exitement separating DTD and non-DTD shop that forgot to hand over DTD voucher for eligible DTD shop!

Plan to tackle Dde tomorrow for more specialised goods viz lamb rack and finest antipasto! Scottish opening hours....

Looking to confirm Maltesers "gift box" £4 £3 will try tomorrow. Meantime on top of current confirmeds, am trying finest streaky bacon... Will let you know!
  • ELAN - great news about the charity donation. It would be great if we could raise a decent amount to help others while Tesco are 'helping' us!

It would be lovely if we could, these are all worthwhile charities who do a lot of good
