Dont know if this has been mentioned before...
My OH has just figured out how to use the barcode finder to bring up asda's price. You need to download the barcode app, go onto custom search, type in http:// groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=%s (with no space after http:/) save that as your custom search, scan your item and press custom search and HEY PRESTO :j tried it on a few items and up it pops on the asda site on your phone
we used the app by ZXing team
This works and is absolutley brill for when you are in Tescos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANKSI think....0 -

OMG only been away from the thread for two days and theirs over 100 pages to catch up on!!! Have just been to T''s and it was heaving with people, a total nightmare. A belated HAPPY EASTER to all my fellow DTD'ers, hope you all have had a good one. We certainly did courtsey of Mr T's, the leg of lamb was delicious as was the chicken and beef:) I had rather too much wine yesterday and ended up giving away a few DTD creams and bits to my MIL, my OH was cringing and has told me he's going to put a lock on the cupboard(Or cupboards and garage!!!!) whenever the wine is flowing and we have people over as I tend to get generous and want to spread the DTD love:rotfl:Never mind, restocked up today:T Thefunniest thing was when we were all sitting in the evening drinking our red and someone mentioned how well red goes with cheese. Off I trot to the kitchen and cut a whole slab of Lake district mature into chunks and everyone nibbled it with their wine!!!whilst raising their glasses to Mr T:rotfl:
When will this all end!!!Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

SS people - perhaps when you've chosen a charity you could post info and maybe a suggested donation - I know people can donate as little or as much as they like but I sometimes think having a suggested donation, say £2 for example, encourages people to donate. Also, if there's room on the SS maybe info about donations could go on there too as alot more people probably look at the SS then at the forum
Keep up the good work
My vouchers (from saturdays shop) are in, just planning my shops and pleased to see the good deal on right guard apds - I'm trying to build up a £10 and £14 voucher whilst still buying things I want/need and I'm now very well stocked on toothpaste and shower gels but haven't yet brought much apds for oh so will start stocking up on them now
The things I'm currently targeting are - right guards apds, wilkinsons shaving gel and olay face wipes. Very little room in the freezer and still not alot of good food deals for stuff I eat (apart from pizzas & cornettos) - please Mr T can we have some healthy stuff? All these pizzas aren't good for me!
I'm looking in to the charity idea as this could be a nice way of us all letting other people benefit from our DTDing. I'll need to try and catch up with the other SS admins - if you're around hop online or PM me - but this idea has potential I think.0 -

I think hampers are the forwardI know when my DD was born I had bought tons of clothes myself (hard not to go mad with all the cute outfits), then just about everyone bought her clothes! Needless to say majority of it only got worn once. I dare say I will bung in a little outfit into the hamper aswell though, but things like bibs and cloths etc are always useful so will put things like that in. Also something that might work on DTD is the thermal bottle holders (tommee tippee), they are £5 in the baby even and I think they were £10 in tesco but wasnt paying proper attention as DD was playing up. So that would make them free! I wont need these for myself as still have 2 left from when DD was a baby, and dont know what type of baby bottles SIL will be using, I think that has to be a personal choice, so might have to have a word and then I could get her the bottles and thermal holder too if thats what shes wanting to use (if they havent already bought them that is)

Just been to tesco on my lunch break from work, cant access the ss or the form from here, but I noticed the pot noodles are now 3 for £2 so dtd would only be £1 if you bought 3. sorry if already posted.
Only buy 1 or 2The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0
