Can i also say whilst i am here thank you so very much to all you guys working on the S/S, it is appreciated so very much, i cant put into words how much a difference you have made to peoples lifes, not just talking for myself but numerous people.
I noticed in an earlier post that making a payment to paypal was suggested but that someone also said thought it would be a bad idea as it might open a can of worms - what about if you all got together and nominated a charity and we contributed to that instead? just an idea and then hopefully others get to profit out of mr T's kind generosity as well xx
I agree and think the charity idea is great
SS people - perhaps when you've chosen a charity you could post info and maybe a suggested donation - I know people can donate as little or as much as they like but I sometimes think having a suggested donation, say £2 for example, encourages people to donate. Also, if there's room on the SS maybe info about donations could go on there too as alot more people probably look at the SS then at the forum
Keep up the good work
My vouchers (from saturdays shop) are in, just planning my shops and pleased to see the good deal on right guard apds - I'm trying to build up a £10 and £14 voucher whilst still buying things I want/need and I'm now very well stocked on toothpaste and shower gels but haven't yet brought much apds for oh so will start stocking up on them now
The things I'm currently targeting are - right guards apds, wilkinsons shaving gel and olay face wipes. Very little room in the freezer and still not alot of good food deals for stuff I eat (apart from pizzas & cornettos) - please Mr T can we have some healthy stuff? All these pizzas aren't good for me!0 -
We're using anything we get for "free" for raffles/tombolas fundraising for the school or pre-school0

And it cant really go on the SS because its changeable.
Deli Counter Large vegetable samosas compare, but and its quite a big but, when i bought 3 at 75p each, so £2.25 it compared to 1 at asda at 70p.....
I thought id check, and when i bought 2 the next day they compared at 74p.
I think its because quantity doesnt come up on the receipt....
Anywho... I reckon, if someone were to buy 10 @ £7.50... theres a reasonable chance it would compare at 70p....
I havent tried it yet...
Has anyone else seen anything similar?
yes i thought about this too! i think you are right.
yesterday, someone bought 2 packs of chicken legs, but the weight of the products were different. the SA scanned one of these packs and multiplied by 2; even though the prices on the packs were slightly different.
the price check result compared against one product only!
so my theory is that this works on deli, fridge/chillled and fresh meat. i don't think this works on other items e.g. toileteries, food cupboard, personal hygiene, drinks etc. but the prices have to exactly the same.
what do you think nuttyginger?:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
