Sadly you only have 14 days to get points added to your card

Will report back tomorrow if it works lol0 -

just had our first ever tescoism
me and the mrs split up in tesco and do two voucher shops each...my 1st one goes through fine, then i go to pay for the second, 'oh you have to go to customer service if you have two vouchers' blonde customer service woman comes and the bloke on the till checks with her and she asks me to come to customer services...fine i think, it will only take a minute...then as were walking down the store another till assistant calls her over...its only my OH and her two vouchers lol, so i figure this is gonna be quite amusing with us both standing at customer services pretending we dont know each other...except blonde customer service woman just said 'its ok if theres two...just more than that and we need to check with head office'...WHAT!!...I only had two...grrr...so OH gets her 2 bags of shopping and sits outside having a smoke while i get stuck on the service desk while she calls head office...who arent there as its a bank holiday...then writes on my voucher 'call head office to check voucher' and sends me on my way with 1 bag.....we stop in an internet cafe 5 mins down the road, print a new voucher and go to other tesco who dont care how many vouchers you have.....
is this the first time anyone has had different things said by the same advisor on the same day?
I've just had a bit of a cringeworthy experience too. Have done several shops in my local, the only issue before is SA's having to ask some-one, but everything has gone through okay ultimately.
Well, today, I only had a few things so decided to use a basket till for the first time. Don't know if that was the problem but she shouts very loudly, did you just print this voucher from a computer? We've been told we're not allowed to take anything printed from a computer. I'll have to stop the transaction & you'll have to go to customer services. I said very quietly, it should just scan, I've used them before. No, she says, again very loudly, you can't just print vouchers from a computer..& then faffed around calling some-one to take me to CS.
Anyhow, not too much of a problem, except that it is my son who amongst other departments, actually is in charge of CS.
As we turned the corner, you guessed it, there he is.
Oh, & they're not allowed to serve family members either..and he's a stickler for rules.
Fortunately there was some-one else on with him, so as I waited in the queue with the assistant holding my shopping, I was hoping I wouldn't end up in front of him. Sighs of relief when I was directed to the other assistant. Of course, she didn't know what to do with the voucher either, so had to call him over whilst he told her what to do.
I think I may have turned a little red but of course neither of us acknowledged each other. I was going to do a second shop but thought it safer to skedaddle back home in case this computer generated voucher thingy was new policy & I was re-directed to CS again. May risk it later this afternoon.
Oh, by the way, I'm not a newbie..to MSE or this thread, but I foolishly registered with something too close to my name when I first joined MSE so thought a new start, particularly on this thread, may be advisable.0 -
