Morning all

The team have been giving it some thought, and we need to make some changes to the spreadsheet. Yesterday, we received at least 400 updates, and every one of these takes time to process and update. There are only a few of us editing and we all have other commitments.

Given this, we are making the following changes:

There are now 3 tabs of data for you to look at. Hot deals, Low value DTDs, and unconfirmed hot DTDs (please ignore the others, I can't publish multiple tabs without publishing all)

1: Hot Deals - these are confirmed deals where you get back more than 50% of the Tesco price although there may be some which are lower if they are particularly good for that product. We will keep this as up to date as possible and add confirmed dates as they are reported to us. So please, continue to report CONFIRM, AMEND, DELETE or NEW deals on this tab

2: Low value DTD - those where you get back less than 50%. The only maintenance we will do on these deals is to add them and to delete them as they are reported to us. We won't double check the info on the Mr T/Mr A website, and we won't add confirm dates. So, please only report NEW or DELETE for these deals.

3: Unconfirmed hot deals - we will add these as they come in and will include a date added. If these get confirmed then they'll get moved to the HOT tab. Please report NEW, CONFIRM, AMEND or DELETES for these

Please ignore the other two tabs. These are for editors only and won't give you any useful info!

Other changes
We will no longer be providing download versions of the spreadsheet. This has to be done manually several times a day and we don't have time to keep doing it.

The VALUE column now shows the % of the Tesco price you get back


We appreciate some of you prefer the download version and that this removes some functionality, but we can't sustain the amount of work involved in maintaining the SS in its current format.

just had our first ever tescoism me and the mrs split up in tesco and do two voucher shops each...my 1st one goes through fine, then i go to pay for the second, 'oh you have to go to customer service if you have two vouchers' blonde customer service woman comes and the bloke on the till checks with her and she asks me to come to customer services...fine i think, it will only take a minute...then as were walking down the store another till assistant calls her over...its only my OH and her two vouchers lol, so i figure this is gonna be quite amusing with us both standing at customer services pretending we dont know each other...except blonde customer service woman just said 'its ok if theres two...just more than that and we need to check with head office'...WHAT!!...I only had two...grrr...so OH gets her 2 bags of shopping and sits outside having a smoke while i get stuck on the service desk while she calls head office...who arent there as its a bank holiday...then writes on my voucher 'call head office to check voucher' and sends me on my way with 1 bag.....we stop in an internet cafe 5 mins down the road, print a new voucher and go to other tesco who dont care how many vouchers you have.....
is this the first time anyone has had different things said by the same advisor on the same day?

I have found that if I enter them before 10pm then I get them the following day (I work nightshift and often shop on my way to work) but if I enter them after this time then I have to wait an extra day for the vouchers

Whilst i'm sure the OP motives were good, i'm not sure its a good idea for the spreadsheet to be seen as a potential commercial operation by Tesco.

It also ignores the efforts of all the people who have contributed on a daily basis by supplying updates on the form provided which makes the spreadsheet such an excellent tool.

I personally think the donation can of worms should be left alone.

I almost always enter mine very late at night or into the wee small hours and they always come back same day.
