  • I'm just a wee bit jealous of all of you who are having problems finding space for your DTD items lol

As a vegetarian who can only shop in her lunch hour, (and therefore cannot get frozen food cos there's nowhere to store it at work lol) and doesn't drive so can't get to Mr T at the weekend, I'm struggling to find things to buy! Gonna be well stocked up on juice, dolmio, WUL and surf by the time this ends! lol

 Thats not good. Roughly where would you shop if you could? maybe there is another DTD'er around that could offer a lift?

Thanks for the tips :D I want to give specifically to those sleeping rough on the street, would the above reach them or would they be more for those living in hostels and hard up?

I know they are all people in need but I feel so sad for those sleeping rough :(
If you google homeless shelter or homeless drop in, these would be your best bet.
I used to work with homeless people too, money is not the best thing to give them, food is always appreciated, along with socks and shoes/boots. Even your old bras will be accepted gratefully.
And toiletries for the drop in centres, a shower with some nice smellies is much better at making you feel good than 29p shower gel and shampoo.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

    new spreadsheet information please read
OK, we have been working on some modifications to the way we update the spreadsheet as trawling through everybody's posts is a massive task, and there aren't that many of us.

So, with this in mind, from now on all spreadsheet update requests should be submitted using this form

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/viewform?hl=en&hl=en&formkey=dEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE6MQ#gid=0

The form can be used to submit new deals, notify us of your confirmed deals for today, notify price changes or tell us to delete something.

Before you send us an update, please check carefully whether the item is already on the spreadsheet. You can do this by pressing CTRL+ F and searching. If it is already there but you need to send us an amendment, then please copy the description from the spreadsheet in to your form. This will make our lives a whole lot easier, A LOT EASIER. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CONFIRMED LIST if the item has already been updated for today.

Also, we will only put the website prices on the SS as there are regional variations in store.

The revised spreadsheet is located here (live version)

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0ArDxW2XgVnGjdEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE&single=true&gid=4&output=html

We have tweaked the value column to make it easier to find the good deals. Those in red, you get back more than you pay (cer-ching!) - those in green, the net cost is less than 60% of the price you would pay at Asda.

We will no longer be updating from the thread (although we will keep our eyes open) so please, use the form.

note to all - deals which have not been confirmed for 1 week are deleted from the spreadsheet so remember to confirm them!

A quick reminder for those who have just logged on

I'm about to send my hubby round to Tesco for some DTD shopping. Before he goes can I ask something? We have a £5 off voucher for Quantumatic and the £2 voucher from inside the Finish box. I've heard people say these can be used towards another box of finish but HOW? I don't see how you can get 2 to work as well as your DTD voucher.

    Sorry if I'm being thick!

    Loving this promo!:j

I've done my shopping today, and the hilarious thing is that I have a till spit offering me £4 off a £30 shop. A week ago I would have thought that was brilliant, and now I'm thinking "meh" - if it's not £20 off a £20 shop, then I'm not interested :rotfl:

Of course, the whole thing is backfiring on Tesco twice over really. Not only are we relieving them of their goods for nothing (or next to nothing), it is also highlighting just how much more expensive Tesco are than Asda. For many years I have been a loyal Tesco customer, but, to be honest, when this promo is over, I think I might have to reconsider - and I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking along those lines
