Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 5

if the voucher is more than £10, then all the barcodes are the same. i.e. they're generic.
if the voucher is less than £10, then the barcodes are slightly different. they will contain the value of the voucher within the barcode. e.g. a £9.76 voucher will be something like 'xxxxxxxx976x' or a £3.48 will be 'xxxxxxxx348x'.
hth
ohhhh maybe thats why people have reported they can use them on the self service under £10 as it can register the amout0 -
vouchers that are less than £10 end with numbers like 'xxx976x'; in this example, the voucher would be worth £9.76.
if the person tried to change the voucher to £19.76, then they are just plain stupid.
all mine have been higher value, so called my mother to check hers and the amounts are hidden in the barcode. but all of mine have other numbers.
but regardless of their system, it is fraud to amend the vouchers. let's just enjoy the promotion while it lasts."However, Tesco clearly underestimated the Great British Shopper's eye for a good deal."

Both these lead me to a whole list of lotions, but I can't find the one that looks the same as on the Tesco website. Are Tesco's comparing a slightly different product? There's is a gel, Asdas is a lotion.Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -
Just seen an advert on tv for a programme called 'Extreme Couponing' with an advert that involves people in a supermarket snipping out vouchers and buying certain number of items to get the best savings. OH looked at me and said 'that looks familiar'!!!!!!0

Please help - I am just off to the shops now and am struggling to find any crisps that work. Can anyone help please? I have looked at the spreadsheet before... sorry not for a couple of days.
Ideally I'm after a 6 pack like Walkers or something. Been searching A & T websites for ages but can't seem to match up the products. Would be grateful for any help. thanks.0 -
