NOT YET CONFIRMED BUT.... It's Dad's birthday next friday, I told him he could have anything alcoholic off the spreadsheet. He picked the Courvoisier... The following day it had gone. Eek. Just looked again today and the Courvoisier VSOP 70cl is Mr T 30.99, A 21.97. so hopefully tomorrow should have a DTD of £18.04 and Dads birthday present has cost me £12.95

    For the spreadsheet Courvoisier VSOP 70cl T 30.99, A 21.97 DTD 18.04 Net cost 12.95

    HTH

please submit using form in post 2 - this was on the ss before but was deleted because nobody confirmed it for a week.

    Fine choice!

DTD worked for me twice on the VSOP cognac.

    I've been Money Tipped!
The 2 ltr coke bottles may not longer work, today Tesco had all of these for 3 for £3, matching Asda.

Well, yes it costs Tesco HO £140 - to be precise, £140 is transferred from the promo campaign budget (Tesco Marketing Dept.) to that individual store. It doesn't matter to the MKT department whether it was 7 transactions from 1 or 7 individuals.

All promo campaigns cost them money, some more, some less. Their primary target is to increase their return on investment - to maximise their incremental turnover (and hopefully profit) for every pound spent on marketing campaigns.

Trust me, they don't care whether you have one or two racks or lamb. :D They care whether they attracted extra 100,000 shoppers each day for £100,000 worth of issued vouchers or not.

totally agree, when tesco decide they used up the budget for this promotion they will stop it

Did it bring it up if you searched the product code?

Sorry, we can't find anything that matches your search for 3537382

odd, very odd. I think we have different licensing laws in NI so perhaps alcohol product codes are different here. I suspect they dont even have the 12 pack here in tesco must go check...

edit i can see it on my tesco so i'll give it a go tomorrow if i can get the printer down from the attic!

nah, its head office are sick of us complaining about the treatment from the trouts. they had to do something they were getting fed up of sending out money cards!!!
Too ture! I received over £40 worth of money cards in March alone from my 3 DTD complaints! April has been accident-free at my local Tesco.

My guess is that their DTD promo budget is extra flexible, hence the relatively long campaign and extensive TV promo. And I think it is also very effective campaign - they keep drumming the message that they are cheaper than ASDA. Few more weeks and your average consumer will have it tattooed on their brain "Tesco is cheaper than ASDA, they guarantee it".

I bought 3 x 2l coke zero bottles today, receipt says £1.78 x 3. No multibuys given by Tesco.
