Hi Everyone, I've never had any success with the beef in Wales. (....story of my life! haha)

Hopefully the NZ lamb will go back u in price after Easter. Haven't tried the cod yet, but have walked past it a few times!

NOT YET CONFIRMED BUT.... It's Dad's birthday next friday, I told him he could have anything alcoholic off the spreadsheet. He picked the Courvoisier... The following day it had gone. Eek. Just looked again today and the Courvoisier VSOP 70cl is Mr T 30.99, A 21.97. so hopefully tomorrow should have a DTD of £18.04 and Dads birthday present has cost me £12.95

For the spreadsheet Courvoisier VSOP 70cl T 30.99, A 21.97 DTD 18.04 Net cost 12.95

Well, yes it costs Tesco HO £140 - to be precise, £140 is transferred from the promo campaign budget (Tesco Marketing Dept.) to that individual store. It doesn't matter to the MKT department whether it was 7 transactions from 1 or 7 individuals.

All promo campaigns cost them money, some more, some less. Their primary target is to increase their return on investment - to maximise their incremental turnover (and hopefully profit) for every pound spent on marketing campaigns.

Trust me, they don't care whether you have one or two racks of lamb. They care whether they attract extra 100,000 shoppers each day for £100,000 worth of issued vouchers or not.
