Just came back from an absolutely awesome shop. I just completed a possible record breaking 7 (SEVEN) coupon purchase all in one go.

I had my boy with me to help me out though. bloody hilarious walking round with my iPad shouting out exactly what he needs to pick up!!
Shop 1. Cost me 30p after £20 coupon!

Shop 2. Cost me 50p ditto

    Shop 3. 94p

Shop 4. £15.08 for Whiskey & Southern Comfort, complaining that I will have to use my credit card on this one!!

    Shop 5. £1.80

    Shop 6. £1.93

    Shop 7. £2.47

A grand total of roughly £160.00 worth for just over £23.00 with hopefully £140.00 worth of coupons from Mr T tomorrow. The young girl on the checkout was very impressed with my cunning saying "You certainly have this sussed".

I just said, see ya tomorrow with a similar shop.

I might use my flip camera on my next shop and post the film on here for a laugh. Even thinking of buying a 32" TV using just coupons and seeing if the young lad on electrical will accept it. He can only say no, its not allowed.

so was this in 7 times at 7 tills or 7 shops on same till neatly divided?

Nope, wasn't me! I've only ever had four of them (all bought on the same visit about a fortnight ago). Did you have all the Chorizo the other day?!

Not all... though one day I did get four! (There were loads left though.)

Sounds like 7 shops on the same till! Dunno how anyone has the chutzpah to do this, as it's such an obvious breach of the T&C. Personally, two shops at different tills feels like my limit - I'm still accumulating a ton of stuff.

I noticed you were a Mancunian.

My 'local' is one from many.

My nearest is Stalybridge, but I prefer Oldham Extra, or Failsworth Extra (today), and have also ventured to Oldham Chadderton, Droylsden (nice staff there but too small and poor DTD items), Greenfield (tiny), and have even tried Rochdale and Middleton Extra's.

Oh and I call in Gorton Extra at least twice a week on my way home (well a bit out of my way but it'd be rude not to).

Only ever found lamb at Oldham Extra (with a heads up from Tazmac25)

Oops and forgot that I also use Manchester Metro, which is very busy, and there's no way you'd ever get sent to CS as it's also the ciggie stand, and is usually 10 deep.

Don't pinch it all, but Walkden does lamb.

I'd bet on it being nearer two days.
perhaps the day after the royal wedding? the papers will be so full of it that they wont have space to comment on tesco dropping the DTD
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

I'm starting to worry again that I've done this wrong. I have a number of receipts which I have submitted using 2 different addresses (mine & DH). How do people know if their claims are processing? Is there something I need to log into or have I done it wrong?

    Also:

Is there a minimum spend when redeeming the vouchers (not specified in FAQ)?
If I use a voucher for another DTD shop do I need to spend more to allow for a £20 voucher?
Can these vouchers be exchanged? I've seen people mentioning clothes and electricals and wondered if they can be doubled up like normal cc vouchers.

Sorry I cant answer all your questions, but if this is any help, I personally normally spend about £30 on a £20 voucher, and £20 on a £10 voucher. I dont know what others do , but I feel happy about spending that money when I have good vouchers. I always spend via cash, and I never use my clubcard.

    Me neither.

T&C's well & truly out of the window then....

    Grrr... *shakes fist*

I got some the next day, so wasn't too concerned! The supervisors all know me by now and keep asking how to do it - I never know what to say for the best...
