Sorry tesco are 68% ,Still less though
Just noticed again after coming back to the computer Tesco is 681 while Asda is 600g packs

Thanks for asking after the sausages. I did ask somewhere this morning but lost in the new SS news I guess, as expected.
I'd like a bit of bacon but no idea if any has ever been confirmed.

Also instore today...an abundance of whole legs of lamb! Either I have been looking in all the wrong places or they knew to hold them back a while.

Some very interesting information (make of it what you will)

    1. Every single voucher barcode is the same. Compare two of your vouchers. Same barcode. All the time. Yes, it begins with a '9', ends in a '0' (checkdigit) and has the sequence '9999' in there.

    2. All the barcode tells staff is that it's a DTD voucher. The value of the voucher is entered manually.

    Oh, Tesco... :rotfl:

Unfortunately not true, if the voucher value is less than 9.99 it shows that in the three numbers before the final 0. In many stores vouchers less than £9.99 will go through automatically when scanned (this must be a nationally/internationally agreed pattern for bar codes) and can in many stores go through the Self Service - vouchers £9.99 and over need to be manually entered.

And they are all unique in the end as they have your receipt details printed along the bottom.

I've just phoned Tesco CS to complain about getting the '100 quid limit per month' email, when the email address in question has NEVER received a DTD voucher before!

The lady was apologetic, logged a call with IT support using the email address as the customer identifier, and will get back to me.

I don't mind being barred for breaching a limit, but it's a bit rich to do so before you've received any vouchers!

As an IT pro, I'm intrigued to hear what the reply is.

    Just had the call back.

Apparently, the email address has already redeemed > 100 quid of DTD vouchers. This is utter BS, as that email address entered its first ever claims yesterday, and I got the rejection email this afternoon.

However, I have redeemed well over 100 quid of DTD vouchers on OTHER email addresses using the same PC and broadband connection, but different email addys which have no other similarity to the one now in question. So there's some sort of tracking going on. My suspicion is IP address.

I can't resubmit the rejected vouchers next month, as the system regards them as blocked and dead now.

So, if you're doing multiple email addys on the same PC/broadband, it seems the DTDs on one addy can affect the other. As I said, the 100 quid email came to an address which has NEVER received a DTD voucher, so some sort of pollution with my other DTD emails is happening.

Maybe the over the limit emails are just a random thing? Sent out to a certain number of people at a certain time each day/week etc. Seems people on here always seem to receive them at the same time...Tesco probably think its enough to put people off going over the limit. They know very little people will actually ring and complain about those emails, instead choosing to believe that they have done something wrong themselves.

Anyhoo I went to 3 Tesco's this weekend, and all 3 had no problem at all accepting vouchers, quick check of receipt, no asking to retain receipts or marching over to CS.
Easy peasy. And no Tesco-isms either.
Please God, help me stop spending!

I've come across a link from another site regarding Tesco price check and wonder if anybody has any ideas/comments as to it's accuracy. I am not sure who is running/updating it but it looks interesting. If I am reading it right, if it shows 50% saving this would leave a net price of 0p IF DTD confirmed.

I like the layout and think it is a great additional tool. Only downside is it is all well and good being on THEIR list but if it ISN'T on Tesco's, then you are up the creak without a paddle.

Not sure what is going on with the vouchers........had 3 out of 5 back from yesterday, missing ones are a cash shop on new email, a recalled reciept from paying at CS using a voucher so only a second receipt on that email and still waiting for Wednesday's one.

I had a recalled receipt a week or so back and it took 3 or 4 days for the email to come through and then when it did it said the receipt cant be found, I tried resubmitting it and I got the 'is being processed' message so accepted it was lost for good, an expected £20 worth of DTD.

Thanks to all those who are taking the trouble to submit results to help others!!

Want to thank everyone for all the information and work going into making this DTD easier for everybody.

Sorry I started collating information earlier on updated prices etc But then due to a number of factors including a trip to A&E I had to depart rather quickly. A&E visit all sorted now...:)

    Thanks again to everybody. :T
Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

Is the £30 spend/£9 bottle of whisky offer nationwide? TIA. :)

It appears to be as it comes up on the website, just search for the whisky..... I have made a list, and am 'hoping' to use a £20 dtd voucher, £5 Quantamatic voucher, and £5 co-op voucher, spend about £10, and still get another £20 voucher back plus the whisky..... oh, and a load of essentials!!!! :D:D:D
