In no way related to the post but what does your signature mean? I'm in your neck of the woods & never heard of it or does it mean nothing, perhaps I know nothing!
OFF TOPIC
It relates to 'matched betting', another activity which is as addictive as DTDing and is discussed elsewhere on MSE - a 'gubbing' is when a bookie realises you're using him and another online bookie to bet on both sides of an event in order to make a profit, and then 'gubs' your online betting account so the most you can stake is peanuts.0 -
Just had the call back.
Apparently, the email address has already redeemed > 100 quid of DTD vouchers. This is utter BS, as that email address entered its first ever claims yesterday, and I got the rejection email this afternoon.
However, I have redeemed well over 100 quid of DTD vouchers on OTHER email addresses using the same PC and broadband connection, but different email addys which have no other similarity to the one now in question. So there's some sort of tracking going on. My suspicion is IP address.
I can't resubmit the rejected vouchers next month, as the system regards them as blocked and dead now.
So, if you're doing multiple email addys on the same PC/broadband, it seems the DTDs on one addy can affect the other. As I said, the 100 quid email came to an address which has NEVER received a DTD voucher, so some sort of pollution with my other DTD emails is happening.
I'm not asking for your email address, but is it something that someone else could have used as their fake one?
jane.brown@gmail for instance. If my name was, lets say jane green I might choose your's as a fake one iyswim?
It's only a game

only a small thing but:
if you're looking at the Spreadsheet (GREAT JOB BY THE WAY)
and you want to find something in a hurry,
Ctrl + F brings up a search box on the bottom left of your browser, simply type in the word you want to search for e.g. Finish (as in dishwasher items...lol) and it will find it for you.
This is a "browser" feature so don't worry about it affecting the spreadsheet and you can then click on "next" to fine the next item (suppose that's obvious)
hope this is of use, once again ...GREAT JOB! on the spreadsheet! No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -

new spreadsheet information please read
OK, we have been working on some modifications to the way we update the spreadsheet as trawling through everybody's posts is a massive task, and there aren't that many of us.
So, with this in mind, from now on all spreadsheet update requests should be submitted using this form
https://spreadsheets0.google.com/viewform?hl=en&hl=en&formkey=dEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE6MQ#gid=0
The form can be used to submit new deals, notify us of your confirmed deals for today, notify price changes or tell us to delete something.
Before you send us an update, please check carefully whether the item is already on the spreadsheet. You can do this by pressing CTRL+ F and searching. If it is already there but you need to send us an amendment, then please copy the description from the spreadsheet in to your form. This will make our lives a whole lot easier, A LOT EASIER. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CONFIRMED LIST if the item has already been updated for today.
Also, we will only put the website prices on the SS as there are regional variations in store.
The revised spreadsheet is located here (live version)
https://spreadsheets0.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0ArDxW2XgVnGjdEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE&single=true&gid=4&output=html
We have tweaked the value column to make it easier to find the good deals. Those in red, you get back more than you pay (cer-ching!) - those in green, the net cost is less than 60% of the price you would pay at Asda.
We will no longer be updating from the thread (although we will keep our eyes open) so please, use the form.
note to all - deals which have not been confirmed for 1 week are deleted from the spreadsheet so remember to confirm them!
Update for the evening crowd0 -

uhmmm what asda recipt i asked? he said the one that proofs tesco is dearer!
i gave up at this point
this morning, I was still awaiting my vouchers from friday. I entered receipt details on my laptop this morning, and the voucher was there. I then entered the details into my main computer to print it off, and i got the "still processing" message... I entered the details again 3 times within the next couple of minutes, and it eventually gave me to voucher.
If you haven't had your voucher within 24h, just keep re-entering the details, and it should give them to you eventually.0 -

2. All the barcode tells staff is that it's a DTD voucher. The value of the voucher is entered manually.
Oh, Tesco... :rotfl:
There is still all the receipt coding at the bottom of the voucher which has too match.
Its not difficult to work out what email addy that was sent too.
Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.
I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.0
