    Hi shoppers

been lurking here for a while and today was my first day annual leave as i am of for 2 weeks.

I have spent most of the day reading this thread and it is thourghly entertaining.

I am planning to do my first shop tomorrow i am a asda fanatic but tempted by the meat and drink.

I have tried explaining this to the o/h but she is not interested so i am going to show her, she just likes spending and i am the frugal one.

firstly am i right in thinking that i have to the 30th april to max out as near to the hundred pound mark.

Secondly is there any stores in manchester that anyone is having problems with as there around 4 mr ts within a 10 minute drive and dont really want bother of trouts.

it is very addictive got to go will be able to look for further updates while desperate sh++lives is on.

    HELP!!!

I need some help with this, my pregnancy brain is really giving me memory and additional issues
This month I spent over oour £150 budget food budget, more like £220 and thats cos when I got started on this DTD thing I did two £40 shops to get a £20 voucher! I now know NOT to buy things off the DTD list when using a DTD voucher but what I am NOT getting is how can I turn a £10 DTD voucher into a £20 one??

I just dont get it? We dont get paid til next week and I have three DTD vouchers all for under £10 and loads of people coming over the weekend for BBQ's so have meat but need to buy some salad and dips etc and nappies for the little ones and booze!
    HELP!!

lol poor you! The way [we] are keeping our DTD vouchers nice and high IS by using them to buy more DTD stuff! ie - use a £10 voucher to buy a kiddies toothbrush and you'll get £16 back to spend again. For your BBQ maybe you could buy some of the DTD sausages or fish? You get food AND more money to spend :)

I did get the full fat coke. Bought them last week and no probs at all.
But make sure you dont buy any old el paso fajita/taco mix in your trolley. T have a current deal of buying fajita/taco and a 2 L coke for £3.. you wouldn't get DTD back for it.

Wont make a difference for a 'meal deal' t&c state.

    1. Price comparisons for in-store purchases are based on what the customer actually buys and the date of purchase or delivery. This includes price reductions and promotions (such as "half price" and "buy one get one free") but not store or category wide promotions such as “buy 6 bottles of wine and get 5% off” or linksave promotions (such as "buy cheese and get crackers free"). These are excluded as it is difficult to make fair comparisons. Products that are purchased on a "reduced to clear" basis will be compared at the price paid at till.

    regards
Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

Last question I promise, any deals on kitchen roll? thank you guys. (not being lazy cant access ss)

The Tesco Ultra 6 pack at £4.49 are matched with Asda at £3.38 so a DTD of £2.22. An added bonus is that they currently have a third extra so 8 rolls instad of 6. I can't find anything better at the moment.
