Not all SA's ask for receipts anyway, so in one way it's perfectly easy to print off another & use it, depends where you go.
On the other hand some stores have been told by the management to collect the receipt & it is then stapled to the voucher so the numbers can be matched when they cash up.
They're welcome to my receipt, why would I need it anyway? A small price to pay for my voucher.I certainly wouldn't want an SA to get into trouble on my account when their till is checked at the end of their shift & they haven't kept my receipt.
If you really want to keep track of what you have spent on each receipt, why not create a folder for them within your email, then you can bring them up any time you need to.
Its the first time ive ever been asked for my reciet but if the staff were trained properly and they all asked for your reciet and signed them then you would be able to re use a voucher. Also I sometimes add stuff I know will come back N/A so its less obvious its a DTD shop, for example today I brought a printer, theres no way Im going to let them have that reciet as if it messes up I cant take it back. If its just a few little bits I dont mind them having the reciet but other times I do need to keep it.0 -
On a completely seperate note, my printer is fast running out of ink and I hear that Tesco do not price match ink cartridges sooo.. anyone now where to get reliable enough cheap ink cartridges that wont break the bank? Fast delivery would be lovely tooComping wishlist for 2017

First a customer hit a SA with their trolly and they ended up having an arguement in the middle of the aisle (I was on the SA's side, they didnt even apologise to her) and as I was leaving they'd had a shoplifter who had tried to run over the manager with their car.
On DTD side of things I had my reciet checked for the first time and the SA wanted to keep my reciet, I said I needed it back for my records but she said shee had to keep it. i politely told her she just had to sign it to stop me printing another voucher.
did you check the trolley's ??????:D
were they both stressed out DTD'ers on a mission
sounds like me racing up and down the isles over the speed limit for those trolleys narrowly missing alot of ankles!!!:rotfl:GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Been going to this Tesco with vouchers for weeks now. Started doing 3 shops one after the other to save going back each day. Most of the supervisors are nice ie. Wendy, but there are two Trouts that work there. I think one of them is called Donna and the other goes crazy with her highlighter pen all over your receipt growling at the same time.
Allerton Road has nice staff and they dont seem to have many vouchers going through (and they have lamb and roast potatoes there) also Old Swan is quite a nice store for staff as well.
Will continue to go to Deysbrook though to wind them all up. The SAs all know me now and some often ask what can they buy to get a voucher!!!
Obviously I just went at the wrong time - only my second voucher but think I'm spending more than I normally would anyway now; gets a bit addictive! Although OH made up as fridge is always chocca! :rotfl:
Might see you there one day, we can compare baskets x0 -
Hi shoppers
been lurking here for a while and today was my first day annual leave as i am of for 2 weeks.
I have spent most of the day reading this thread and it is thourghly entertaining.
I am planning to do my first shop tomorrow i am a asda fanatic but tempted by the meat and drink.
I have tried explaining this to the o/h but she is not interested so i am going to show her, she just likes spending and i am the frugal one.
firstly am i right in thinking that i have to the 30th april to max out as near to the hundred pound mark.
Secondly is there any stores in manchester that anyone is having problems with as there around 4 mr ts within a 10 minute drive and dont really want bother of trouts.
it is very addictive got to go will be able to look for further updates while desperate sh++lives is on.

Well it has been over a week since I put my receipt details in and still no sign of my voucher.
What should I do next?
Have you tried re-entering the details to see if the voucher is waiting for you?
If that doesn't work some people have mentioned changing the date by putting 04 for april instead of 4 ...or the other way around if you put 4 in the first time.... Or changing the time by one min...then resubmitting, the Tesco system will treat it as a new claim and you should get an email voucher through 24 hours later.
If you do change the time by a min, you do take a small risk of the SA picking it up at the till. Other people have changed the time by 12 hours, entering 0204 instead of 1404.0 -

I hope you aren't over 60! I gather that over that advanced age you aren't thought to be capable of using a computer, sussing out a spreadsheet or working out how to get a DTD bargain !
Trouts are good fun - I quite enjoy getting them all red faced and excited !
Am not over 60 but i did think that the earlier post was quite ageist as my old fellow is 70 and he knows more about computers than me.
Furthermore if he used this site and seen them post he would have took a grievance out as he reckons it was his generation that invented the computer lol:T0
