I suspect if you're all doing it from the one PC, they're tracking your IP addresses so using several emails won't work. You need to use multiple pc's in different locations. I do mine from home & work.

Or just unplug a BT modem and get a new IP addy.

Yikes... Just had a look at my browser cookies - T use Unique Visitor Identification cookies as well as quite sophisticated UTM (Urchin Traffic Monitoring) ones for the seperate tescopricecheck.com site.

If you use the same web browser on the same computer to access several vouchers (without clearing-out all cookies before and in-between each), T's analytics know all too well that all those different email addresses are in fact the same person.

They've just decided not to exploit this info, yet (perhaps they're piloting it with a few select DTDers?). Don't underestimate that they're using very powerful cookie-based tracking and know a lot more about us than we know about them!

i do find this abit worrying since i opened 7 diferent vouchers and printed them at my husbands work, because we don't have a printer 2 were my email (clubcard used and our email) 2 were 2 diferent cash no cc ones one mine one mil, 2 were mil her email and cc used, and 1 was my grannys her email and cc used, i would like to think this would acually effect us as we can acually prove that it's 3 diferent people with registered clubcards

i was in local tesco and as i checked before i went the lamb was being reduced yet in store as the lamb is pre packed i was able to get this fingers crossed this comes back dtd

but may be worth a look

difficult to understand what you're saying, but did you buy a reduced pack of lamb which is on the DTD spreadsheet?

if so, then you won't get DTD based on the original price; instead you'll get DTD based on the reduced price. so, depending on what you paid (and how much the item was reduced by), you'll either get a small amount on the voucher or nothing at all.

You're joking!? So if I buy something 28days ago but only submitted it yesterday and received the confirmation today I should list it as today's date? That means every date is inaccurate since we don't know when the person actually bought the items (and that's what counts), so a deal could be long gone even if it's listed as confirmed today!

There really is no pleasing some people!

The people who do the spreadsheet do it all for free and this is the thanks they get?

sorry but how rubbish has this whole thing been set up.. the stores have not been briefed, the system has not been set up properly. there is no tracking in place other than if you use one email etc etc..

with all this in mind do you really believe they know how to track cookies??

as mentioned earlier there seems to be another glitch in the system..

I've just had an e-mail back from Mr T about the 'changes' I was told would be happening shortly to the scheme ref a minimum spend/number of items bought. Rather interesting I thought....

    Dear ******,
    ............
It is also concerning that you have been advised that further restrictions are to be applied when using the voucher. I have investigated this and we have not looked into a minimum spend being applied to the voucher. I am very sorry that a staff member has informed you of this.

Does this mean that you could use say a voucher for £20 on a shop that comes to less than £20?
I was told by the trout at my store I had to get it up to £20!

    Slight problem with that thought.

Anyone using public computers, ie library, college, Uni, works etc, would all have the same IP and cookies. Meaning only 5 claims could be made from each place.
I can assure you that that is not the case.

  • A question for the tech bods here. I used to input my receipts from my phone, but now it errors all the time. Is there some sort of setting I need to change? I'm on orange but someone said users on all networks have been having trouble?

    Thanks
