What shall the job title be? Something like 'rip off the customer consultant'
with a £50K a year basic, mini for company car and company credit card.
That would do me! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

You are not the only one to have had a problem with this store! May I suggest you use the 'how did we do' service mentioned on the receipt and/or email philip clarke at
philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com
Don't stand for rude behaviour from staff in any store. They are paid to serve YOU, not the other way around.0 -

I had brought this pizza well before DTDing and I added loads of stuff to it and it was nice.
The second one I brought was plain and was really tasteless and I would go as far as to say not nice at all. Not worth £1.00 let alone £4.25
It is a real shame because the missus brought one yesterday and thats what I have for dinner tonight!!!!....guess I am going to have to load it up and do enough garlic bread and mozzarella and tomato salad just in case it tastes bland again.
Each to his or her own I guess.
Had my pizza.... it was rank and boring....so glad i have a £9.00 rack for dinner tomorrow. :beer:0 -
Hi All
New to forum, but have been reading for a little while now.
Thanks for a great thread – only just found it today.
Would anyone be able to help me with a couple of questions please
1. Can you use you Clubcard
2. Can you pay by debit/credit cards as I see some posters are stating paying by cash
TIA
If you are going to stick to all the terms and conditions - only claim £100 per houseold per calender month, and only spend a max of 1 voucher per household per day ..... then you could use your Clubcard and debit/credit card.
If you are going to bend the rules, then pay cash and don't use your Clubcard.0 -

Felt embarrassed being told couldn't use coupon and felt in a panic in case I didn't have enough cash on me. I was stupid and obviously gulible and didn't think to ask her name. realise now that I should ahve stood my ground and asked them to ring head office while I was there - just wouldn't expect them to lie to the general public!
Shortish and a little 'pear shaped' (don't mean to sound rude, just only way I can describe her) with a very pleasant demeanor and smile? If so, it could be Beth who used to work at Gaywood and was very very anti taking coupons in the days when tesco would take them even if the product wasn't bought. She knew what head office policy was but would not budge from her stance. I can imagine her being very anti toward anyone she saw as taking advantage of this promotion.0 -
