Yesterdays shop, confirmed today:

2 x TESCO BREAST PADS 40 2.44 - 2.00
1 x DETTOL MOISTURE HANDWASH 250ML 1.98 - 1.00
2 x WHISKAS POUCHES FISH FAVOURITES 12 X 100G 6.00 - 5.00
2 x COLGATE MAX FRESH COOL MINT TOOTHPASTE 100ML 4.80 - 3.00 (Back up to £2.40 again after being price matched for a short time)
2 x COLGATE MAX FRESH CLEAN MINTTOOTHPASTE 100ML 4.80 - 3.00

Total DTD - £12.04

Bought today (to be confirmed):
Hardys Shiraz 7.79 - 4.00.... potentially costing just 21p (spreadsheet price appears to have gone up)
Cadburys Heros 3.69 - 2.00

Searched for the Beef Top Rump - found the label saying £8.48 per kg but different barcode to the one on the spreadsheet. Anyone else had a diff barcode matched?? :think: Thanks

cherry lucozade sport only buy one as they are 2 for £5 found out the hard way when i bought 6 never mind.
also veet went through the till at £2.50 sel £5.00 also some flash sprays are going through at £1.00 not £2.00

Well if they are taking dtd stuff off the shelves then someone forgot to tell my local store! I have had beef, leg of lamb, rack of lamb, got 2 toothbrushes today. Fingers crossed it will stay this way

Had fun at chichester today!

Went in and did 2 shops.

Went to till

Lady Shouts from one end of the shop to the other end

"SUE MAN WANTS TO USE PRICE CHECK VOUCHERS"

Was really funny.

Lady checks and noticed that last shop had a voucher on it and so did this one and I over heard her say to the other trout "this guys abusing this"

then she comes over and says to me store manager told us no longer to allow customers to use price check vouchers but they will this time only.

I said your going to have a hard job enforcing that, like you really can stop it when you have banners over there that shows price check etc.

she said does not matter tesco is getting rid of it soon. I laughed

I then said I WILL BE back in a week and I WILL use my voucher in this store!

5 trouts are on the till now all talking about it etc.

Phoned CS and they are dealing with it. On the off chance I called the store and the manager was no in yet and spoke to the duty manager and asked her about it and her reply on the phone was

what is price check? I said you know where you match asda. she put the phone to one side and said to another staff member, do we match asda now?

so even the duty manager had no clue.

I spoke to the manager a hour later and told him I had not abused it I only did it once other time at this store etc.

CS come back to me and said the reason was that I had used 2 vouchers in 2 shops. I explained that it was for my disabled mum (it really was) and she said she look into it.

at no point with the trouts did they say anything about using 2 vouchers., a excuse me now thinks. I said am I allowed to use price check vouchers and the cs said yes as long as im within the terms and conditions.

the trouts take this to heart lol
