I've got 2 missing, both done at the same store. I think it's probably just a system glitch or that they will send them later, lets hope it's nothing else!

Whoo just had a missing receipt and voucher for the 14th turn up. Had given up on it because I thought it had taken me over £100, but it's there today. I had kept reentering it for the past few days on same email. So don't give up, every other voucher I've had turn up the next day. HTH

Had my first 'non event' today.The cashier checked he could accept the voucher by calling the checkout manager who refused it because there was a digit missing. She said the 24hr clock difference was ok but the missing number one by the transaction number was unacceptable.

I explained that i had had a couple before and that they all had that digit missing but she said that head office has told all Tescos not to accept any voucher unless all the numbers were the same.

I told her all the usual stuff but a call to HO wasn't possible because of the time.

She was very nice about it and apologetic but my shopping remains at the end of the till while I console myself with a magnum.

The long and short of my rant is how is the best way to complain to head office ? Shall I email or is it better to call...anyone know.

Emailed Mr T and called head office today... they apologized and assured me it would be ok to use the voucher and if I had any problems get customer services to call them.

Went back and did two separate shops with two different cashiers and neither even asked to see my receipt let alone check it!!!!

Company policy shmolicy!!!!!!!!!

I let them keep my original receipt if they want to, no use to me as what I buy is going to be used or by the time my dtd voucher comes through it has been eaten already lol.

You don't need the original voucher at all, I would rather they take them so that I don't forget what is what, unlikely I know but I don't want to be swimming in reciepts and pick up the wrong one.

i had one missing from g mail but realized my address was.co.uk but had put in receipt .com

I use a new gmail addy everyday for DTD. ie TESCODTD001@gmail.com, TESCODTD002 etc with no probs.
