did you follow him in the hope that he may drop his receipt??? lol

I would have told him, I always look in peoples baskets and spend more time explaining DTD to shoppers than I take to do a shop in the first place.

BTW I ave always done multiple shops, usually 4 x £20ish vouchers daily in one go. I just use the blue seperators to split the shopping up into £20 batches.

I always use the same clubcard but try to use a different email addy for each shop and have never had an email from Mr T saying i have reached my monthly max even though I have clearly overspent on some days.

At w/e I even use multiple vouchers for single transactions, ie. New XBox games for £44.00, just paying £4.00 using two £20 vouchers. (I can supply receipts for unbelievers).

I really can't understand why some people get really nervous when DTDing or worry about 'getting found out'. I justify it all by saying it is Mr T's personal project and if he allows it or has failed to adequately train staff about DTD then it is his loss and my gain.

I have no qualms about buying 10 x £10 toothbrushes or anything else in bulk for that matter as I send them to our fighting Forces in Afghanistan or put them in shoeboxes for Romanian Orphans, never for personal gain. I did the same in the good old days of RNR as my 'fans' will remember.

I will be trying a 5 x £20 vouchers today, call me charitable, greedy, cunning, entrepreneurial, a thief, conman, scammer,. Whatever, it worries me not. I enjoy the thrill of beating Tesco's at their own game. And, it keeps me off the streets!!

I haven't used a genuine email address for any of my vouchers for well over a week and had them working on a rotational basis.

The only different thing I did today to other days is not be on MSE when vouchers came in....I was cleaning. I think I came back to find they were here about an hour after the first person said vouchers were in.....but I doubt that would make any difference.

were the shops all done fairly close together/in the same store?

I've had receipts go awol for a day or two (4 at a time on one occasion!) and most of the time it is a gremlin. From what I can tell every day there are a few people who dont get them that day - they either get over limit emails, they come back a while later as details not found or, most commonly, they surface with one of the batches in the next few days.

Yes 4 in the same store but 2 shops were done by DD and 2 by me.

    So what does that mean?

I`ve just returned from a DTD shop- just my luck to have a SA that `hadn`t seen these before` . I told her what she needed to check, etc, but she insisted on calling a supervisor, who then refused to let me have my receipt back, as she said they had been told that they had to keep it- didn`t want to make a fuss, so I let that pass- that`s not right, though, is it? Has there been a recent idict from HO?

I wish I'd taken heed when I read someone's post a couple of days ago about culverhouse x. I just tried going in my lunch hour and they refused to accept my voucher without producing my clubcard (which I hadn't used on the previous receipt). When I told them they couldn't do that and there's nothing in the t&c's he insisted it was a 'store specific' policy.

I would have stood my ground a bit more but I had to get back to work. And it was the first time I'd seen racks of lamb :(

  • i got that this morning the tesco chappie said it was the one i was looking for, but was £10.49 and not £8.79.

I've had DTD on the £8.69 one, I think tescos sell 2 varieties ~ one is a limited edition which is £10.49 and the other is the one that works on DTD. Hope that makes sense :)

    Quick question please...

Can you use a DTD voucher to buy things you want to put through on DTD?

    thanks
