Had my first 'non event' today. The cashier checked he could accept the voucher by calling the checkout manager who refused it because there was a digit missing. She said the 24hr clock difference was ok but the missing number one by the transaction number was unacceptable.
I explained that i had had a couple before and that they all had that digit missing but she said that head office has told all Tescos not to accept any voucher unless all the numbers were the same.
I told her all the usual stuff but a call to HO wasn't possible because of the time.
She was very nice about it and apologetic but my shopping remains at the end of the till while I console myself with a magnum.
The long and short of my rant is how is the best way to complain to head office ? Shall I email or is it better to call...anyone know.
A quick call should get the manager a slap on his derrière and you a gift card.
It is often difficult shopping on a Sunday or after 6. If at all possible go other times in future. My only non event was of a Sunday.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Any ideas anyone ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thanks0 -
i printed 1 off my pc then printed using DD1 and DD2 laptops so managed 3, all of same printer and modem (think thats wot its called!) maybe try another pc? HTH as you do with ss :A
Thanks for that. the problem is that i can't get it to print. I've tried it on 2 different PCs (don't have access to any more than that) and it just won't work. It downloads all the necessary bits and pieces but then sits with the wee circle going round and round and round............. never moves. It tells you to click 'here' if you're on the page for more than 45 seconds, so i did. It asked me to fill in a form then that was it!
Anyone else had the same problem that's managed to resolve it?.•¨¨*:•..•
