Email from CS about vouchers which have not arrived from last week,
Thank you for contacting us.
I am sorry you have experienced problems whilst attempting to use our Price Check website and you are yet to receive your price check email. I appreciate why you would be unhappy and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
In most cases, we aim to get your results to you within 36 hours. Our price check website has to find receipt details from the millions of transactions that have occurred in the last 28 days. We then match products against the ASDA products and prices on that day. Unfortunately, it can take a bit of time for our systems to process this information. However, there may be rare occasions where it takes a little longer to check your details but you'll receive an email from us as soon as your results are ready.
A valid email address is required when submitting a price check comparison, this is needed to inform you of the results and if applicable, the link needed to print a refund voucher.
Please note we are not liable if an email address has been entered incorrectly. Also, I am sorry to say that if your receipt is not recoverable by our system, that we will be unable to conduct a comparison in this instance.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.0 -

Interesting Reply from TescoWe have had the clarification for you, sorry for the delays. Whilst I understand your point of view, the fact that you may be using a Price Check voucher that you gained for a purchase which has in turn been paid for by a Price Check voucher could indicate that a voucher is being used simply to receive more vouchers. It is this that can be considered not in the spirit of the promotion based on this I’m afraid they can refuse to accept or issue any voucher if they feel this is what is happening. The signing of the second receipt would prevent the issuing of the second voucher.
I realise this will be disappointing to you and that the way the matter was dealt with in store could have been better and for that please accept my apologies and assurances I have passed the issue to management within the store.
Hope this helps make things clearer for you.
Jade-Customer Care.
The strange thing is that in the end the store will no longer sign new receipt!
I wonder if that will be the new rule, that if you used a voucher and the receipt that matches that voucher and shows a coupon they will refuse it. If that is the case the price check is rubbish and not worth shopping with tesco as asda would be still cheaper lol0 -

Quick question...
Had my first 'non event' today. The cashier checked he could accept the voucher by calling the checkout manager who refused it because there was a digit missing. She said the 24hr clock difference was ok but the missing number one by the transaction number was unacceptable.
I explained that i had had a couple before and that they all had that digit missing but she said that head office has told all Tescos not to accept any voucher unless all the numbers were the same.
I told her all the usual stuff but a call to HO wasn't possible because of the time.
She was very nice about it and apologetic but my shopping remains at the end of the till while I console myself with a magnum.
The long and short of my rant is how is the best way to complain to head office ? Shall I email or is it better to call...anyone know.0 -

OMG went to Mr T to buy a printer so I can print my DTD vouchers and cant believe the hassel I had.
I was gonna use double clubcard vouchers as reccomended by someone on thread 4 but was told none of the double ups work on printers, so had to give up on that. Then I decided to do the beauty double up as I needed to get some shaving stuff for the OH, wanted hair dye as well but after changing my vouchers I saw on the T+Cs that they werent included (grrr), so brought make up instead to mke up the difference.
Got to the till and was told I could only use 1 voucher as I hadnt spent enough for the second, I said I had as I worked it out before hand and Id spent about £22 on beauty stuff, was then told the razor which was £7 wasnt included. I argued it wasnt on the list of exclusions and the till girl said a razor wasnt a beauty product. I wasnt happy so she took me to CS, again I was told it wasnt included but I pointed out it wasnt on the list of exclusions.
I also said it was misleading that there were signs for the double CC vouchers both sides of where I picked up the razor and it says "female hir removal produts" are included so why not male? was then told this was creams, again I said it doesnt say that on her form.
All the while I have my 21 month old daughter trying to climb out of the trolly and screaming. In the end the CS woman reluctanly agreed to put it throu (think she just wanted rid of me).
Then to top it off when I got home I looked at my reciet and found Id been charged for something that should have been free with some other items I purchased grrr...
All this because I couldnt get a printer so I could print my DTD voucheres myself.0
