I try not to think about what it is Candy, but when they were eating it DS2 said something about it being dead, and I got a bit teary:eek: and told him he should enjoy eating it then, and show it some appreciation that it gave up its life for him.

Am so late to-night and didn't get on at all yesterday, sorry if I missed anything important.

Hope that you have had a good day Hilstep.

Out before 8 this morning to have blood tests, was a lovely morning then but clouded over later...still nice enough but not as warm as I expected.

Knitting group this morning, have started a jacket for myself, but just discovered that school is having summer fair end of May so will have to get the needles clicking for that over the next week or so.

Pork chops with turnip and mash for dinner, some of my rhubarb sponge for pudding, glad I froze some of it as grandsons not round this week so would eat it all myself...chopped some ginger into it and the ginger taste is improving as days go by.

Nothing really happening here, hope to get the hanging baskets sorted to-morrow, meant to do it to-day but man came to fix guttering which was damaged by snow, so OH was not available, can't be lifting things like that all on my own.

NPM...go and get checked....that's an order!

Hugs to all in need or want of one, will try to get on earlier to-morrow....but do something first to write about!

    Night all,

    Marie

    Evening everyone

A late one from me too. Beautiful day here too, only ruined by going out to our car parked on the roadside to find someone has hit it and taken part of the front bumper off, no note on the car and will need a full front bumper. It can have only happened between 7 & 9.30 this morning. Looks like someone has reversed into drivers side of the bumper and must have known they have hit it.

DS2 was at a playscheme today at an outdoor centre for special needs kids, he has had a great day. I managed to cut the lawn whilst he was there. Spent majority of day doing washing and cleaning after all visitors had left after the weekend. They came down to watch the marathon which was great, I am so in awe of anyone that can run that far.

I took car to the BMW garage to get a quote, they have taken photos and will ring me with a price tomorrrow. I have to wait in tomorrow morning as there is a local bodyshop firm coming to look at the car too. Will give me a chance to sort out some stuff for ebay and try and get it listed. I have also got to do some online learning programmes for my new job.

Hilstep - hope you have had a great birthday.

Have read through but not retained much information so hugs to anyone that needs one. Take Care.

    Lynne
