    Morning All,

Just had a quick read, HH hope your BIL continues to improve

Gorgeous day again and 1 load already on the line.

DH and DS2 off to work and DS3 still in bed. Just having a quiet cuppa. Full of a cold but am definitely going to shake it off as I am fed up of feeling rubbish

Quiet, no spend day as I have no car but will fit in a walk later. House is clean and tidy and all washing done so may just have a sit in the garden. Its looking lovely, everything springing up, my strawberries already have little flowers on them. I put a raspberry cane in which is full of leaves, but not expecting fruit this year.

tea tonight for the boys will be steak and chips, I will probably have a salad.

    Have a good day all x J

    Morning my lovelies :D

Just a quick read, being a bit of an OS fraud since the hols started. H back to work, as I have. Not done much in the way of housework last week and can't see much being done this week either

No idea what's for tea, got a shed load of washing (again) and taking kids for a picnic later as the sun is out :D

OK it's nearly 9.30am so I think I can let loose the hooligans in the garden and shatter my neighbours peace ;)

Hester - Hope BIL continues to improve xx

Hugs and spoons all round. Try and catch up later xx

Good Morning chums ,beautiful day here in the Medway, bit cloudy but brightening up by the minute and quite warm.Spot of housework this morning then I will go around to my DDs house and take the boys down to the country Park for the afternoon so they can run off some of their energy a bit.Son-in-law has had his notice of threatened redundancy and is very worried but we shall get through it somehow.I had a lovely dinner last night at DDs and she seemed to be quite positive at the moment.I hope everyone else has a good day and can enjoy the spring sunshine
    Cheers Chums JackieO xx

Yay, managed to dejunk the hall table, that recepticle of all post, both important and junk, hats, keys, and assorted bits that peeps put down "for a minute" whilst they come and go!

dd1 appeared whilst I was refilling the wm, and thoughtfully took and sorted the dried washing! I must be looking scary, lack of tea and haven't done my hair yet lol!

Have bunged some pots that were looking a bit sad into the oven to bake for lunch, and removed meat from chicken carcass from yesterday, carcass is now in the pot turning into stock, will use this later as have promised to make dd2 chicken pie when I get home from work! My cunning plan is to show dd2 how to make it, and show dd1 how to make a cheese and leek pie and then they can do it in future!

Scrubbed out roasting tin, and S&S kitchen, and now feeling very virtuous and about to ask girls if they fancy accompanying me to the garden centre!

  • Has anyone here frozen cheese sauce before? DS has started eating HM macaroni cheese but he only eats a small portion and am getting fed up of making small portions of cheese sauce;)
I think if I freeze the made up meal it may go stodgy but was wondering about putting portions of the sauce in bags in the freezer so I just have to cook the pasta.

Weeks holiday this week and loving it:T amazing how much I can sort when work isnt getting in the way.....roll on leaving the place for good:cool::p:j
Been on a walk around the charity shops with DS....hard at times when he starts his noises and rolling about. He found a new toilet seat in one place so that kept him amused for ages:o:rotfl:
We got a new thyme plant and will get some more plants when the decent florist opens tomorrow. Just been moving things and sweeping in the yard and cleaning DS`s water playset.
Just having a quick cup of tea then cracking on with ironing:(
DH a bit distracted at the mo as he is worried about his sister. She has had anorexia probs for years and now has alcohol probs too:(. She has been in a rehab place before but has gone back to one today. He has spoken to her on the phone the last few nights and she is in a bad way. not eaten for weeks and getting up in the middle of the night to drink:o It is such a shame, she is only my age and married with young child.at a loss for what to do to help really as they live down south. I think DH is going there in a couple of weeks for a day or so to visit.
If peeps could light a candle/ have a prayer if you are that way inclined it would be much appreciated.
The lump in my armpit is not as sore now and seems to be going down a bit so hopefully ok....will still get it checked when I get time.
    Right the ironing beckons
    xx

    RR - hows little dog?

She seems much better today, we bought one on those DAP plug in things, cost a fortune, but within 1/2 hr of plugging it in she was extremely chillaxed :rotfl:, she is laying around with a daft look on her face :D

Late one from me, as computer would not turn on this morning, anyhoo, got a load of washing on the line, and hoovered through, took my car in to be looked at, I think the rad is leeking, but they said it would take them at least 4 hours, so we had a quick walk around the town and got some fish and chips instead :D, the chap in the chippie was smitten with DD, she got the biggest portion of chips ever :rotfl:would have kept her fed for a week.

We will just have a snack for tea, a sandwich or cheese / crackers. I am full of cold here too :(, just got over one too, might have a little snooze :D

:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:Huge Happy Birthday to Hilstep :j, hope you have a good one sweetheart xxxx

Off to have a look at Bitsy's hubbie on FB now :D
