I think if I freeze the made up meal it may go stodgy but was wondering about putting portions of the sauce in bags in the freezer so I just have to cook the pasta.
Meant to say earlier, my dd loves mac cheese too, when I make it, I make up a batch of 6 or so, and freeze the portions, does not go stodgy, and she just takes one out when she fancies one.
Hope you sil gets the help she needs xx
Also phwoar here too for Mr Bitsy0 -
Hello everybody :hello: hugs to those who need them, a baseball bat to those who want to use one and Happy Birthday Hilstep! :T
Well acupuncture today. Glad I've cut it down to twice a week, three times was becoming a real chore (not that twice seems that much better really). Planted my dahlias today and moved some stuff around. Unfortunately got bad tummy pain AGAIN (all the fault of the wholemeal toast I had in my opinion) so it means I've still got all the gladioli and lillies to plant tomorrow AND put the lawn sand on the front.....:( Damn my gall bladder scar tissue......So I'm off to bed with a painkiller and my stitching and a hot water bottle. Tomorrow I plan to, and I'm writing it here so I can't back out, plant everything else, do the lawn, try and split the mad geranium (those and columbines seem to really like our soil) and then bake....OH is moaning about the lack of cherry cake available....:rotfl:I'm sure he's thinking of complaining to the UN....:D On a lighter note we got a letter from the Halifax saying we're one of the people they are making a goodwill payment to - we thought we wouldn't be eligible. So that was nice given it arrived in the same post as my SE NI contributions bill LOL! :rotfl:
Right that's all my "news" - night y'all! But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -

Oh I broke my diet again.
I made the guys their roast chicken, and have done a pie filling with the leftover meat veg and gravy, and the carcass is boiling for soup (I have broth mix steeping). I made a toffee apple crumble and custard for dessert, it was delicious
but I never had any dinner. However, low carb it was not!
OH is still grumpy
