    Afternoon all

A beautiful day here too :D

Work kids worked their socks off this morning planning their afternoon tea/quiz/bingo session for local old people's home, then we went out for kick about in sunshine in the park :). Then rocked up at old people's home, only for them to say that had no idea that we were coming and the residents weren't available for us  I'd only booked this with them last week, and confirmed on Friday the numbers. Apparently the girl who booked it is notorioius for being forgetful, not very good is it?! My work kids were disappointed, although they soon cheered up when I gave them the afternoon off! They are going to another old people's home tomorrow.

So I have skived off the last hour of the day and am gonna crack on with some uni work. Then have break for dinner, then more uni work.

OS wise - dinner will be from freezer, need to make packed lunch for tomorrow too

    Have a good evening all

    Afternoon All!

Back to work for me and school for the boys this morning, and it went like clockwork! :) DH is being grumpy again - I know exactly why, and I knows he's waiting for me to sort it out. Am I being a sadist or a masochist if I make him wait? I can put up with it I think, but can he is the question? We'll see if he's any happier when he comes home.

Hester I hope the news coming from BIL is good.

Happy birthday Hillstep, I hope you've had a lovely day :D

Dinner tonight is roast chicken for the menfolk, I got a free range one in Lidl for a fiver after work, so they'll be having that tonight, curry tomorrow, soup on Wednesday and hopefully there will be enough for a pie too. It is sitting on some veg to roast with a lemon stuck up its 4rse right now. I feel a bit sorry for the poor thing, but I am not eating it and hopefully it had a relatively OK life if it was free range. I am back on my diet and having something cheesey, not sure what. I also have some eating apples with bruises, which my children refuse to eat, which will become a crumble for them too.

    Have a good evening everyone.

PS Mr Bitsy is a babe! ;)
Right, off to look at Flylady and buddingblonde's thread and see if I can get some cleaning done before I put the dinner in the oven. :/

Day's gone quite quick considering, took kids for a picnic, been out in the garden this afternoon with sand and water play, managed 2 loads of washing and both hung up outside and managed to whizz round the living room with vac and duster - yay go me :D

No idea what's for tea though :o:o Must do better <slaps wrist>

I don't get the Beckham thing Bitsy, its not the first thing I thought when I saw him, and on reflection I still don't see it. I did think "Phwoar!" though :rotfl: - only kidding, I'll be getting chased off the board in a mo!
