I've got cousins who live in Huyton, and a friends DM and a friends DB :D

Anyway, off to bed now. I fathomed out the complexities of my online account and am quite chuffed with myself. I also discovered my browser isn't getting updates. Can't fathom out why, so it looks like an uninstall and download again. That can wait until next week.

Just finished a book which made me think of Hex. Dan Waddell. He has written 2 and they are both good. Genealogy, so set in present day, but the plot keeps going back in time. Also good if you're interested in genealogy. I learnt a lot.
Not usually my type of book - I like the present day thrillers set in England, Peter James, Mark Billingham, Stephen Booth, Peter Robinson amongst many others. I have too many books waiting to be read.

Night night all - catch you bright and early for another bout of ironing.

    Morning All

Well I've been kept awake half of the night by the party they were having next door. It was alright while they were outside but they moved inside about 1 and finished about 4. Not sure what the plan is for today but I need to finish DD's room, she's still asleep at the moment though as they woke her up a couple of times. DS is up though so I'm going to start by putting his clothes away that I sorted into piles last night so he could get into bed.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning Jue and everyone else,
That is so annoying when people are noisy and you can't get your sleep.

I'm just having a coffee then I am going to attack the ironing.
DH is already up and sweeping the patio!

DD is now up so I'm going to do a HHC in her bedroom and see how far I get - probably not far. Although I'm going to start off by hoovering her drawers out and under her bed so I can start to put stuff away. It's a bit tough if next door are still in bed!

Morning everyone - looks like the weather is going to be good again here.

Lots to do today, and I think I need a Toots list for the next couple of weeks

    1. project cash flow between now and July
    2. find places to cut money out - meal plan? (*shudders*)
    3. BnQ or Screwfix (locks, shower switch)
    4. change flight tickets, can we swap to smaller villa/hire car
    5. remove the pantry from my BR
    6. clear the en suite to be
    7. clear BR5 to BR3 so H can get on
    8. Tidy out the play room. Master the art of e-bay with the Thomas railway mountain/Playmobil
    9. Apply to colleges for SS2 and show him the apprenticeship website
    10. Find all SS1 paperwork to send to his mothers, also check round the house for any other bits
    11. Look into music magpie for the dvd mountain
    12. Get some books onto Amazon

This will get longer as I think of things. Finances took an unplanned battering yesterday and I need to get them back under control. I hate not having a safety blanket of savings.

Thanks for all the book suggestions. I am keeping a list! Greenbee, I always need more books and authors.

Soappie - Dovedale, the dark peaks in general, Ashbourne, Bakewell, Tissington and lots of local flyladies! What are you waiting for?
