Morning all
Have been reading through the posts - haven't been on here for the last couple of days, my youngest caught my chest infection off me bless him and has been sick with it, most of last night was spent dousing him with cold wet paper towels to try and get his temperature down. He's a bit cooler this morning though

Well I have walked around the downstairs of my house today writing down all the things that I need to do in each room - it was a BIG list,lol!! I was going to write it all down on here but don't want to take up that much space! So I have picked out what I intend to do today to start with and here it is:
Kitchen
Shiny sink
Clear breakfast bar
Clear window sills
Clean breakfast bar
Clean window sills
Wash floor mat
De-clutter pantry
Clean pantry
Mop floors

Living room
Clear window sill
Clean window sill
De-clutter coffee table
Polish coffee table

Pop to friend's to deliver eggs? (Depends on youngest - it may have to wait till Monday)

Ok I am going to check on youngest and then have some breakfast before I start, getting quite hungry now. Put TD on earlier and clothes should be dry now Sun is out so all other washing will go on the line

Good morning,
Beautiful here if a bit hazy. Birds are singing really loudly.

Must get flying now as have a houseful coming later and need to make sure surfaces are clear and floors are clean.

No washing or line drying today. Sadly put the washing line away yesterday. Can't have washing on the line when you've got 20 odd people in the garden having a BBQ!!!

Think DH is getting airiated about the number of burgers and sausages that need to be cooked. Think I'll get dear SIL to help him so DH doesn't feel all alone in the cooking corner!

Really need to hoover through and then have a shower, Happy Holy Saturday, see you tomorrow, Silver x

My duvet is having an airing on the line and the dog has jumped on my bed to get to DS and dug a hole in the sheet so that's the end of that! Doll's clothes are being collected between 10 and 10.30 so that'll be another load of stuff gone.

Busy day today and dh is working till 10pm so I have the icklies to entertain. Ds has gym 10-11, then off to a crafty saturday (where I would normally stay till 5 and stitch with good friends) probably only stay half an hour as kids especially ds are not very tolerant! Then off to St Georges Day event in McGoldrick Park - also in Huyton near where I work. Can't believe how small a world it is when we have flyladies who know where Huyton is and others who know all about Derbyshire , where my olds live and I grew up!

Plan for rest of day is get cracking on the listy and get cracking on the inevitable school planning (yuk). Have dosed up on painkillers again for dodgy back but it is fne if I keep moving so guess I better er... keep moving:p

morning all, wasnt online yesterday much as we went out and caught up with some old friends and then went for a pub tea so had a lovely bank holiday friday im going to go jump in the shower in a mo as ive got to be at work today however OH is going to be doing some housework as his parents are coming round tomorrow. we are not doing sunday lunch! we are going to bbq :j so i will need to stop off at tesco on the way home tonight for a bag of salad, some jacket potatoes or potato wedges and some more sausages and buns but it will be fine and will NOT be mayhem. if i instruct it not to be mayhem it will work *fingers crossed *

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway

Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace

Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!

Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!

Strip bedding, wash and replace.. air the duvet while it is naked!

Polish any mirrors or glass.. inc. dirty windows!

Declutter and mop/vacuum floor

Wipe out the fridge and get rid of anything gross and slide the stuff that needs using now into your meal plan

Wipe down all the paintwork
Thursday ~ Cruddy Study & Bathrooms

Empty and wash out bins
wipe paintwork in these rooms
Clear and wipe a shelf or two

6. get soemone in to sort out the hall carpet
7. hand in notice to landlord once competed on house

12. get me a 2nd card on OH's credit card

21. book dentist before OH goes back to sea
22. write a list of all furtniture we need and cost up best options. NB sofa done
24. buy ladders (to get into loft)
25. get quote for deep cleaning this house when we leave
26. get quote for carpet cleaning rented house
27. back up all my spreadsheets onto both desktops and OH netbook in case my laptop goes belly up
28. get pics of edinburgh and sydney framed.
29. take edinburgh prints with me this weekend.

Well, there's two loads through the WM on the line, and the DW has just finished - shame that this is mainly down to Mr Dog thinking I would 'like' to be up at dawn this morning - but I have to be nice to him today - he's been here six years. [URL="javascript:void(0);"][/URL]

Need to do some sort of sensible flying today - work keeled over and just about crushed me this week. My need to have a chat to my boss about my health and the fact I needed to start some medication and wasn't quite sure whether it would have any side effects or not, didn't happen as my boss went sick on Tuesday, my colleague had gone sick (different sort!) on the Monday, on Wednesday we had external visitors, with no agenda planned by the person who should really have done it, so Wednesday morning saw me running around like a loon putting an agenda together, and taking them for dinner, in the hope that boss at least would be back on the Thursday for "difficult" meeting - nope, didn't happen, two colleagues off sick, and my only part time back up was tied up 75% of the time on some trying negotations, and I was left trying to be all things to all people, including running the "difficult" meeting and picking up 3 x other people's work in my 'spare' time. Just as well they turned the PCs off at 5.00 pm for maintenance work this weekend. Not looking forward to next week now as there is bound to be five days work to fit into three days, before I even start on what's not done yet. Oh, and just let's not talk about the extra hours worked this week. Also have a family member I am extremely fond of in hospital in not too good a shape just now - not critical, but would like to travel to see them some time soon, and know there are going to be some difficult decisions to make for the future - but really couldn't face travelling over the Bank Holiday, so need to have a think about when. Just starting meds this weekend - but too early to tell if they are going to affect me - or even work for me!

Right. My ironing mountain is just that, so am off for HHIs until DH removes himself from the sleep zone. Then will see what I feel up to dealing with next. And am all too well aware that my "garden" needs several HHGs - seem to have gone from sleep to giant weeds in the space of ten days!

Haven't read back very far, so apologies to everyone I have ignored. Sorry I missed your birthday LW. Mr Dog is hoping for home made birthday biscuits later and promises to send a couple your way.

Sorry things are still tough, hex. Hope the dust settles soon.

DH came home from work yesterday and behaved as if nothing was wrong. (Need a confused smilie). DS1, however, came home with a tattoo :eek: . It's something he's wanted for a while, but I told him that he would need to wait until he is 18. Then I would have taken him to the place a friend uses, because they are trustworthy (doing consultations, giving thinking time etc). He won't tell me who did it, because he knows that I would act.

Can't work out how today is going to go. If I make a list on here, maybe that will help to clarify.

more laundry - one out on line and one in WM, one left to do
DW - emptied and re-loaded
food for the weekend (mainly fruit, veg, milk, sandwich stuff)

rake dried grass off lawn (NN's son cut it yesterday, for a fee)
put combined lawnfeed/weedkiller on grass, as rain forecast later

deliver Easter eggs

Before Tuesday I also need to phone DS2's childminder and sort money for bill paying.

Was thinking about going to costco's, but might save that for next weekend.

Swimming is a great idea - I go with my brother and nephew sometimes and they both enjoy the time together. They also go for lots of walks to give SIL a break - not with the pushchair though (that's boring), they use the sling which they find much easier. Maybe OH could try that?

There's probably more trash than decent stuff in this batch, but I'll try to get them to you sometime next week - just make sure you put them on amazon when you're done (or if they're too trashy for you!)

Need to get on and pack, and work out where to put new plants for the weekend so they survive until I can plant them! I think the kitchen sink is probably the most sensible option...
