My sister is better than him, You ever really talk to him if you want something, he isn't conversational material, I struggle to see what she sees in him

One thing just occured to me..how do you know she is your sister? You might be adopted! Would that change things?

Oooohhh have you actually tried one of the "no win no fee" law companies to see if they will help you? You should make sure you give them all the details over the phone, and keep on trying if one says they can't help you keep calling until you find one that can! (If you still have a phone that is of course! Best not ask the sisters BF if you can borrow his again, I get the feeling you're not in his good books)

Wow - can't believe what I'm reading here. Sounds like the sister's BF did the OP a huge favour and the OP is then trying to screw over the BF. The cynic in me thinks that the OP is jealous of her sister having a BF.

explain it to me then, She should side with her family whats wrong with that?

Do you know the saying: "You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family" ? If I were your sister then I would be wanting to get as far away from you as possible and would be wishing with all my heart that I could choose my family as you certainly wouldn't be a part of it!
My posts are my own opinions based on my experiences and info gathered from sites such as this.
They are not a substitute for professional financial advice - but you knew that already didn't you? ;)

You say you are a student......do you mean a secondary school student??
Surely an adult wouldn't think like this?

You made the mistake, not him (well, he made the mistake helping you out and this is how you've repaid him).
I feel sorry for your sister.
Not only are you being selfish towards him, but you are being selfish towards your sister. All of this is coming between him and your sister!
YOU cannot say whether she should be with him or not.

GROW UP AND BE A DECENT HUMAN BEING AND PAY HIM BACK WHAT YOU OWE!
I've never heard of such nonsence in my life!

Just because he works hard and earns money does not mean he should wipe this debt clean. How would you feel if this was the other way around, and DON'T say that you'd let it go because I highly doubt it.
Pay him monthly like he'd first suggested because he knew that you couldn't afford it in one lump sum - most people would ask for it back in one hit, but he was actually being nice yet again!
If you can't afford it, then dip into your Thiland savings in order to make peace and let your sister live with the love of her life and carry on.

I can't believe your family have threatened to expell her from the family if she sides with him!

    This cannot be real!
 Thank you to everyone!

The thread reminds me of that thread that was started a few months ago where the daughter refused to pay more rent to her mum, the 2 OP's sound as though they are both 17/18 year olds
