but in these circumstances she should side with her bf, why should she be piggy in the middle due to you not being reasonable, the bf hasn done no wrong except lend you his phone which i bet hes kicking himself
Why should she, She should side with her family, its not like she loves him is it? She can do better0 -
Yes, but at least the CCJ isn't a criminal record - now if someone had a criminal record for fraud, for instance, that really would spanner things potentially.
Just out of curiosity, if your sister is too good for him, do you take a low opinion of everyone who does you a favour? Is it that you are concerned your sister might date someone who was prepared to put in a false insurance claim and risk himself for you? Surely the only solution to this mess is for you to go to court and put your case before the judge. It would make a most satisfying afternoon in court for most parties, especially any observers.
Best thread in years btw OP, thank you.0 -

My sister is better than him, You ever really talk to him if you want something, he isn't conversational material, I struggle to see what she sees in him0

Having read all this thread, I really can't believe the OP - words fail me :doh:0

SO what? listening to the story of why it meant so much to him, I think he should grow up and drop it.
Why should she, She should side with her family, its not like she loves him is it? She can do better
It shouldn't matter why he wants the phone he lent you back, it was his and you lost it, you're responsible for making that up to him. Also you benefited from the phone that came from the insurance claim (by selling it) yet you're stitching him up for the excess amount.
Can you actually explain why him seeing your sister means he should just write off the hundreds of pounds of lost property you have caused him or do you just think that it should mean that?
Your sister should side with the person in the right in my opinion. In my opinion this isn't you. In my opinion you're expecting other people to pay for your discontent and incompetence. If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0 -

if the bf had actually done wrong then yes she should but the bf hasnt done wrong, he was being helpful with lending you the phone but you decided to not return the favour by selling the replacement
like i said its her choice who she sees, if she wants to see the bf then up to her, she really is in a bad situation,
if you dont pay the bf are you prepared for the consequences, if you get a ccj you have to declare it when asked,
why did you think the money from the phone sold on ebay was yours to keep ?0 -

Why mess around with the little people? Take the matter directly to the top: Gillian Duffy. :j0
