Yep...I know..sorry for rambling on your thread but it was just to also point out a lot of people are greatful for not having to spend an arm and a leg at a wedding!!!..they really enjoyed themselves ...it's your day and always remember it's what you both want that counts not what everybody else wants...you spend as little or as much as you want too...it's all up to you...
It was awful and the trial was a hell of a lot worse...

    I know what you mean.

I will be making people completely aware that the wedding will not be a big, flamboyant "LOOK AT ME!" type wedding and they can make their own decisions about whether they want to come and share the day or not.

If they don't then that's fine - I will know they are only want me for my expensive vol-au-vents! :D

So what was the outcome of the trial?

Congratulations LookingAhead. I think it's wonderful to have news like this on the board.

I'll raise a DFW/MSE glass of Lidl champagne to you.

You have the wedding exactly the way you want it, it will be very special and is just about the two of you.

Wow! Check out the guests in this diary and all the lovely comments!
Maybe I like all this attention after all! ;):D

Had to laugh at Minnie & SS's comments! fiancé (oooh can't believe I get to use that word!) looked over shoulder at SS's post and had a wry smile and muttered "Cheeky monkey!"

Thanks PAP - wow I can't believe you read ALL of my Ramblings! You deserve a medal! I am flattered and pleased that you have enjoyed it and thought me positive too along the way. Though I have had my moments.....

And WOW G_R, been off to Sunny Spain and got yourself a señor!? DO TELL MORE! :D
