Oh that's very handy to know! Thanks hypno! :)

It has saved me going to the dentist to have work done for quite some time now!

I banked the cash! Along with a bit of change I had as well. So my overdraft has reduced slightly.

Everyone kept saying "Treat yourself! Go on treat yourself!" but I just couldn't see it. There's just so much to pay for between now and the end of June it's unreal!

However when I got home today and checked my emails there was an e-voucher for £5 off MOP hair products which I *swear* by and I am just about running out of my conditioner. I had to spend £25 to get the £5 off so I went for it...I have ordered £40 worth of stuff which will keep me going for ages and then there was the £5 off and free p&p so....the winnings have helped out there!

If anyone wants to try their stuff I really recommend it, it's all made from organic fruits/veggies/juices and I love it. One of my colleagues tried a shampoo on my recommendation and she said to me the other day "I love that shampoo. I had to use something else whilst I was away in an emergency and it was rubbish! My hair was a right mess!" so I guess she likes it! :)

I can organise a £5 off voucher for you if you like as well - you'd just need to PM me your email address & name and I'll sort the rest out. Just in case you are interested! I'm fully aware of how us ladies are always looking for the holy grail when it comes to hair products and I think (for me anyway!) MOP is it.

Right well after that little MOP promotion (no I am not on the Board of Directors!!) I'll update you on the tooth!

It wasn't so bad today but after dinner today I had a yoghurt and a cold bit of raspberry hit the top of the tooth and I thought my head was going to implode or something! The sensation turned me all weird! I brushed my teeth immediately afterwards and things seem to be OK at the moment. Just had a cup of tea and no adverse effects to the hot water. I think I'm going to have to get it sorted soon if I keep getting those head warping experiences but...I'm holding out!

The thought of seeing my overdraft whap right up again for bleeping dental treatment really p's me off!

    HI Looking Ahead

Sympathies with the tooth pain. As a lifelong dentist avoider (I had horrific experiences as a child) I can assure you that dental pain even of the most extreme kind does go away by itself.

I had an episode some years ago now which sounds like yours. If I ate anything cold or sweet I was in agony (and I don't use the word lightly!) But after a few weeks of trauma it just went away.

On the very few occasions I've gone to a dentist I've always regretted it as in every case it has just made whatever problem I went with worse.

sorry that is the kind of advice you are not meant to give but I really and honestly believe that teeth heal themselves.

    Thanks seawxyn!

Sometimes I think you just "know" when you need professional help and when you can just let your body try & fix itself.

At the moment I am thinking the latter.

But I have had root canal work before and I knew it had to be done. The abscesses and constant Solpadeine (other pain killers are available ;)) were a big clue that I needed the dentist!

    I'll keep tabs....

Hi LA glad to see you got a bargain and that your O/D is coming down...and that your tooth is a little better...did you try the tip Hypno gave you?..let's hope your good luck continues..

I did try hypno's trick but the pain is very quick to pass (you know how sensitive tooth pain can be - searing, but over quite quickly).

But I will try it for sure if it becomes more nagging. :)
