Dont complain now GR, some people pay a small fortune for liquid diets...slimfast for example....;)0 -
GR should have just gone in now and is expecting to be out and back on the ward by 4.
Spoke to her last night and apparently she was standing outside the hospital front door in the rain, wearing nightie and dressing gown, having cadged a couple of cigarettes from a homeless person. And to think I was moaning about being cold waiting for a bus home having been to see a play, with jeans, a vest, T-shirt, jumper and coat on! Of course, the conversation turned to the cats, and Macius the Little Guard Cat beating up the dogwalker is something I wish was on video.
Don't think she'll be in any position to get in touch for a couple of days afterwards, so can't offer any updates - but if I do hear anything before you, I'll let you lot know.
So, all I can say is;
GET WELL SOON, ANNAI could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Right, have been there and I'm pleased to say she's doing OK.
Obviously in a lot of pain and tired, but OK and hoping to go home in a couple of days, as it's taken more out of her than expected.
She says thank you to you all (and made me promise to not take a photo of her and post it on here) for your wishes, too.
The 14 year old redhaired Nurse Ratchett wannabe who has a face on her like she's been told she has to tidy her bedroom when she gets in tonight has had her card marked :cool:
But the male nurse was VERY cute.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
