Nope, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if i were scaring the living daylights out of the elderly, the unemployed, and all others desperately living on the edge, borrowing money just to survive from scum companies which exist only to squeeze every last drop out of them. They should be categorized with car clamping firms, and shut down for good for the damage they do. You are not an "agent" but a debt collector/ bully boy.

And most of us are customers too-so that blows your theory out of the water

i will back any action going, for any agents that havnt all ready sent their details to dean lacey, do so asap, yes he is a agent, and so far has been very positive in his steps to bring us all together, i believe our only way forward is to unite, we need all 12000 agents, i have added my support to all that are out there trying to make a difference, in off to collect my hit list now, feel like i am being led to the gallows
  • Thats the problem. UNITE. I jacked in yesterday and at least one other Agent was out in the afternoon helping the manager do my clip. I was only speaking to the Agent in the morning and they were telling me how much they had lost and how unhappy they were about it.

I agree with samyantha i was a debt collector not an agent when i worked for shopacheck, i was leading people into more debt and wonder why they go into DMA when they couldn't meet their AWP. And with shopacheck as with provident or any other things like avon never become a customer on your own book, just makes a mockery of becoming a debt collecting agent.

I agree with you Scooby Doo, after 28 years as an agent i am very sad, but noone in the office made anything bout it. I am still going to collect tomorrow as its not in my nature to just drop tools, not that i will be appreciated for it. I to hope noone covers my agency for a while, as that is very hurtful. Nothing against the DM'S BUT let Provi suffer for a while let us agents have for the past 4 weeks, all i wanted was a days pay for a days work. :(

    the threats have begun!

I have been told by my boss that "i am the only rebel in my branch and can make things very difficult for myself" If i follow through with any no issue action on week 20.
  • There has been an announcement on the clerks grapevine message board that they are to remember that any main agent covering as deputy for another agent must pay in that book to the original agents unique number. You can only use your unique number for your agency or a vacant agency. So my idea has gone out the window. Only a third of agents are currently better off the rest have lost to some extent.
