Just after all the good press they were getting on the number of awards they have recently won. Shame0

Looks like i'll be digging out my ipod again.
What's the point in having a playlist if you can only listen to it 5 times?
I would happily pay a small amount to keep the service how it is0 -
Does anyone know whether these new limits will apply to Spotify Free members, who currently have no limit and no charge?0

Oh well, I've loved the freebie for the past few years.
Don't think I'll miss it enough to pay for it if that is their intention.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

As a light user of the free service this probably won't affect me much - especially as I increasingly use We7 instead as it seems to have a better range of music.
I have to agree with "most use Spotify to discover music" - which is why the music industry's paranoia about home taping, ripping CDs, etc. has always been misplaced. I use Spotify & We7 to find new artists or listen to songs and albums before buying them on CD. It would be great if I could use either on my mobile phone or Squeezebox. I know Spotify Premium allows this but I'd prefer to spend the monthly fee on buying music rather than renting a service.0 -
This is only going to lead to people stopping using Spotify which means their advertisers will be paying to play to deaf ears..in todays culture and recession we wont pay to play or for anything that isnt essential.. they will just do their own service down..What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
