Morning everyone

Dull and cold-ish here but it's not raining. Yet. Think that's due tomorrow
Not sure what plans are today, went clothes shopping yesterday and something H bought doesn't fit so he's thinking about taking it back. I don't really want to go so might suggest he heads back on his own and I'll stay here with the kids and get some massively overdue cleaning done
Not sure what's for tea, had a lie in this morning as DS woke in the night so we all slept in and I still can't think straight :rotfl:
Must go out and get the lawn cut today WITHOUT fail :eek:
Tiredmum - hugs for you and the family xx poor lad I really hope it's nothing serious xx
micheroux - Deep breaths lovey, can you have a representative in the meeting with you, at least that way you don't feel ganged up on. Perhaps write down the things that were said to you and anything else you want to say so at least you have a physical prompt to remind you in case you get nervous xx
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Sorry, meant to mention these but the memory cell failed:(

Good Morning All
Tired-Mum hope the news is good today (((hugs)))
MIA yesterday - had to go to Wickes with OH first thing for some garden membrane. It was on offer, checked their prices for chippings and bark & they were so expensive! Hate that place with a vengeance
Today DS has a hospital check right in the middle of the day. Its 45 mins each way so we are all going then off to Pizza Hut Buffet Lunch, I have some vouchers from Xmas :j
Getting some essential stuff done in the office now then ironing when we get home. OH is at a loss at the moment as can't do anything till we have some type 1 delivered.
Thats it for me, nothing exciting. Hope you all have a good day.x0 -
Good morning everyone ,
cold and overcast here at the moment so its possible that the cinema is on the agenda for today with the three youngest grandchildren.I'm going to whip around with the hoover first and might even get the iron out and do the little bit that is due from yesterdays washing.apart from that not a great deal to do today I try to keep the holidays clear as much as possible for the grandsons as their Dad works from home and it means he can get on whilst I keep them amused.I am going to look up an apple cake recipe as I have three apples that could do with being used up and tomorrow my sis-in-law from faversham will visit in the afternoon and she loves a slice of HM cake with her coffee.
Hope everyone has a good day
Cheers JackieO xx0 -

Plans for today are

Ironing - not too much thankfully
shopping - we need a grocery shop so will go to Morrisons when we take DS to work.
Cleaning - done:T
thats about it really, I should do some painting but am seriously lacking energy atm so will leave it till tomorrow!
Have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning All,
Kids still in bed, just having a quick brew before I start
We moved DS3 into the box room. He just about manages in there as he is 14 and six foot, but we need to get the bigger room decorated. Found a role and a half of paper in the loft last night so will do one feature wall behind the bed and then paint the rest. Also need to get a black out vertical blind for the bay. The most xpensive thing is the carpet as its a biggish room, the rest will be done very OS.:D
Need to pop to the bank and need bread and milk today, also going to try a different library for a change. Will take youngest with me. Bit annoyed with the older one again. He has taken a day off cos he is not well when I know he just wants a lie in:mad: he doesn't get paid when he is off and the fact that he doesn't pay any keep because he can't afford it doesn't help. At 21 I feel he should be contributing and am really getting to the end of my tether with him. The older 2 are so independant and responsible I really don't know what happened.
tired mum sorry to here your bad news
Micheroux good luck with work I am sure it will work out for the best
Esmf glad you had a dry night
Think I am going to have to go back to work. I absolutly love being at home but money wise things are tough and its getting really tight. Gonna have to update my CV and get job hunting.

Morning Troops,
Tired Mum, thinking of you and your family.
Micheroux, they are obviously running scared and know they are in the wrong. I agree with BB's advice, take a rep with you and make notes.
JackieG, I am very jealous. The brood and us love Kelvingrove. It is a fabulous place. We loved the hanging heads and sitting listening to the organ. DC2 loved looking at the art and loved Van Gogh, though they had not long watched thr Vincent episode of Dr. Who so he was fascinated that here was the artist here had seen on the tele. We didnt get to see the Dali unfortunatly.
ESMF :T for the dry night. Actually that reminds me, DC2 hasn't wet the bed since we have been on holiday. He was wetting it a couple of times a week during term time. Hmmm!! me thinks he is definatly having issue with school.
It is dull and very cold here to day. Have turned the heating on for an hour to take the chill off.
The brood were palying happily in their room this morning and didn't want to come down so I folded and sorted the washing off the airers, put a load out and put the WM on. I was half way through emptying the DW when they came down, so we are having breakfast and I will finish it in a minute.
DH is still a sleep at the moment as he had a bad night.
Today is the anniversary of Mum's death so we are going to put a pot of lavender on her grave and then we are taking Dad out for a meal, if we can get him to come.
Need to get some bread on in the BM as well this morning.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Morning all.
Very lazy day for me today. TOTM, so curled up in bed with cramps and the laptop! DD1 watching tv downstairs, and dd2 is doing something in the bathroom with water and a little bottle!!!!!!!! Should really get up to see what she is up to but CBA. Will regret it later but, ah well.
She had a dry night last night thankfully. She has been dry for months but had 3 nights in a row wet!!!! Discovered that she has been drinking the bath water, so I just stood her in the bath last night and washed her down instead. She loves her bath, so once I think she has got the message, I will let her have a bath again!
Not much going on today. Cos I have a sore tummy, I am doing very little. Just gonna give myself a rare day off. LO in fridge, so won't have to cook much, just something for dh work lunch tomorrow.
Those of you with health and work worries...... thinking of you.
Have a good day all.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...
