My educated guess then would be the hazard switch, try & get 1 from a breakers yard if you have 1 close to save forking out alot of money from a dealer & hope that the switch you et works. lol

How are you going to dohand signals driving in the dark?

    :rotfl:Like Andy said .

Seriously though . Thank you all for your replies x

Can you borrow a BMW badge and stick it over the renault one? The you won't need indicators.

Do you have a sunroof? If so, it may be the Multi Timer control box in the passenger footwell that has gone kaput, usually from water tracking through the sunroof down there and fusing it. Apparently, its quite a common thing.

Exactly the same thing happened to my 99 model a few years ago, no lights, no central locking etc. Main Stealer wanted over £300 but I managed to find a small garage who could do it for £260.

I didnt think it was legal to drive a car that is fitted with indicators that don't work (it wouldn't pass an MOT anyway would it?)

I don't recall it cutting out no, the problems were electrical for the most part (lights, indicators, central locking, wipers).
