Good morning all and thank goodness its funky friday:j.

Been angry all ready this morning and it's not even 10am .

I sent off another op of £100 to Northern Rock yesterday and specified as usual to direct the op to part 2 of my mortgage. Checked online this morning to find out that they have again shared the payment out between both mortgage parts - what total and utter doyles they are:mad:. Getting a tad bit knarked off now, had a bit of a rant to some poor young chappy who assured me the that the only way to be sure they have followed my request is to look online every time they process an op.....grrrrrrr.

On a lighter note its nearly the weekend:beer:. Off out tonight for a fillet steak and some vino blanco with girly friends (all on a meal deal of course);). And the venue in question is within staggering distance of home so no taxi expenses also:D

Have a fun weekend one and all - toodle pip - stingebag:p

    Morning All:wave:

Finished my oping for May my first real proper month of really going for it and after my normal monthly payment goes through I will be in the 98 thousands area - which sounds horrific but is a much happier place than last month. My name is stingebag and I am an addict!!

Have a nice weekend one and all. Stingey.x

    Good morning all:wave:

Back round to the kiddies school holidays again and being hit by holiday club fee's (perils of a working mum I'm afraid):(.

Gotta get my food spending under control me thinks. Was quite organised at the weekend and visited a local market gardener and spent more money than I would have at Mr A's (work that one out)!:mad::mad:

I love the idea of batch cooking and freezing but as a working mum don't seem to be able to fit everything in:o. Never mind suppose I do what I can where I can to save dosh:D.

Off to a wedding next week and am gonna recycle a LBD that I have. Actually its offically my one and only funeral attire but guess if I bling it up a little then I wont look so sombre (fingers crossed);).

    Take care,
    Stingebag:p

Well done stingebag - sounds like you're doing great.

I never seem to get round to proper batch cooking but do cook double the amount when I do pasta and other things that lend themselves to doubling easily. Not sure if that might work for you?

    Hi,

I've just read through your diary and have subscribed.

Well done for all you've achieved so far. I'm at the start of my MFW journey and love reading how other people are doing.

I'll be keeping an eye on the thread.

    Greetings one and all:wave:

Standard mortgage payment along with op direct debited out of my account takes my noose to 98K. Taking a peek at my online account also tells me that yet again NR have allocated my money to the wrong part of my mortgage:mad::mad::mad:. Another phone call, more apologies later and hopefully they will eventually get it right...grrr:mad:

Just can't believe how poor NR is for getting transactions correct, not very pleased to say the least!!:p

Anyway kids back at school so no holiday club fees to pay - hurray:):) so that makes June a bit of a cheaper month for me:D. Some fab discount shops have popped up at a nearby shopping complex which I am very interested in and should save me a couple of bob - it's grim up North so those types of shops tend to do very well around here:T.

First born is blabbing on about a fancy phone that she must have but my wings are like a shield of steel and the deflections are coming thick and fast;). Teenages ehhh, who'd ave em:D.

Any way off to pay the dreaded council tax now....think I feel sick:eek::eek::eek:

    Take care, Stingebag. x
